“We love our Smithville Dollar General!!!! The staff goes out of their way to help us any time we need or ask for it. Great products, great clearance, great prices. Restroom has always been available & clean for us. Wish we could still get our rolls of quarters there for our laundry mat at our apt. but the manager said they can't do that for us anymore, & I guess I can understand that. Anyway great store great people except Aaron, he asks people for $ even when he's working. Don't care for him, but every1 else is awesome!!!”
“All grocery stores should have a dedicated allergen friendly and allergen free aisle!! It was so wonderful to walk down an entire aisle and find allergen friendly and allergen free food instead of searching the entire store for it!! The five stars are for the allergen free and allergen friendly aisle- I have a nut allergy- and the fact that I was able to find snacks and coffee that I cannot find where I live. I will state that what would make this Hy-Vee even better would be to add in, or add back in, a salad bar (i.e. Picadeli Salad Bar would be a great option).”
“Leslie, the florist at Price Chopper, did an absolutely beautiful job in designing and executing two floral arrangements for Mother's Day for me. I called and gave her a price range for each, knowing I'd need her to include a vase and delivery, and she asked a few questions about the interests of the ladies they were going to be gifted to. I always love giving her creative liberty with the arrangements. I'd hate to stunt her creativity. They were delivered according to my timelines, and the ladies were contacted beforehand so as not to miss the attempted delivery. The recipients loved the arrangements, and I was sure to give all of the credit to Leslie. She's amazing, each and every time I seek her talents.”
“Sprouts is one of our favorite places to stop by for quick shopping needs. Easy in and out plus has nearly everything we need. Prices are slightly higher due to the quality but prices are still reasonable.”

“Phenomenal store for the size of it. Stopped in during my lunch break and grabbed a warm meal. It was delicious (no, I don’t work for Hy-Vee). I grabbed a tenderloin sandwich with tots. They cooked the tots fresh and served it all right to my table. Kudos to them!”

“I’ve had a great experience shopping at Indian Bazaar. The store has an amazing variety of groceries, spices, fresh vegetables, frozen foods, snacks, and household items all in one place. Everything is usually well stocked, and I appreciate how fresh the produce is compared to many other stores.
The staff members are always friendly, respectful, and willing to help if I can’t find something. The store is clean, organized, and reasonably priced, which makes shopping here convenient and enjoyable. I also like that they carry products from different regions and cultures, so there’s always something new to try.
Definitely one of the best Indian grocery stores in the area. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality products and good customer service!”
“Been going there now for over 7 years and not one complaint. Order all my meds through their app and go pick it up. Went there the last time and I just ordered the day before, I just went to check on the order and the gal said it may have just got here. She took the time to rummage through three totes and got them out. Do not wait in line very long and if I do it’s mostly because the customer is being difficult.

“Friendly staff.....this morning in the snow...the female employee was scooping the front of the parking area with a shovel. Dollar General management should be ashamed .as much money as the company makes not only do they only schedule one person a shift at this store...making it inconvenient for both customers and employees...they can't pay to have snow removal. Shame on you.”
“They have a bar. And it's one of the best places to grab a beer on weekdays especially. Great bartender named Reese serves up fine drinks, beer specials, and sharp sports takes! Regulars are a terrific welcoming bunch!”
“I had a last minute need to pick up a cake for a birthday. The bakery was not only able to prepare a custom cake in under 24 hours, but it was absolutely beautiful. They did an incredible job and everyone was so impressed with the cake. Super grateful for their help during a last-minute scramble.”

Her cake designs are beautiful and perfectly suited for every occasion. Not only do the cakes look amazing, but they taste delicious as well. Everyone always loves and compliments her work. Sara truly makes every celebration special. Highly recommended!”
“I really like the employees here and they are very nice and always try to help me which is great. Only thing is, for some reason, a lot of the bags of chips that I buy at this particular Walmart are stale.
I hope they can fix that, but other than that, it’s always been a great experience.”
