Menards is a large and well-stocked store with both cheap and expensive items for necessary shopping and unexpected finds. Customers describe it as a great find and a playground for everything needed. The staff are outstanding, good, and friendly, with people available to answer questions. Shopping experiences are generally positive, though some note the stores are very busy. A few mention that shipping is high priced and that the rebate process for special pricing can be disliked. Overall, it is a place where you get what you pay for and many choose it over closer alternatives.
If you're tired of the other hardware stores with their self checkout only, then you'll love this place! If more then 3 people in line they will open more registers with actual employees ring up your purchases. Great selections and prices!
