“Climb the stairs it’s worth it. I love this store! I’ve bought several things from here, they have some unique gift ideas for everyone. The employees are very sweet and helpful. I bought a wooden travel map for my husband for Christmas, I had to order it but I’ve ordered from them before, no worries. This will be my go-to place for future gifts.”
“I brought my 4th grade Girl Scouts here for the simple meals badge and the owner, Katheryne, did an amazing job with them. All of the scouts had great feedback after the class and the food they made was not only delicious but something they could easily make at home too (very fitting for the simple meals badge).
I HIGHLY recommend Siostra Pottery for their cooking classes. And I can’t wait to go back on my own to shop some of the beautiful polish pottery.”
“Absolutely charming. The local artists items were so unique. I grabbed a handmade beautiful santa made from an antique candy mold! The shop keep was very friendly. Will definitely return for gifts with sentimental punch.”
“Old Town St. Charles is like having a little bit of old Williamsburg in our backyard. Cobblestone streets, quaint shops and restaurants make for a pleasant day. Christmas Traditions during December make it the perfect place to visit with characters, carolers, buggy rides, and lights galore”
“A delightful store with great employees! Jo helped me find Christmas gifts—the handmade Santas are stunning and priced so reasonably! Plus the surprise nook of clothes was a fun place to shop for some warmer clothes since I brought the wrong kind! The furniture is so comfortable and a great variety in a super fun store to visit! If you like clocks, there are a bunch of them, plus the floral arrangements are vey nicely presented by seasons. I will be back and so should you!! You will enjoy this store and go visit April’s second store next door where the arrangements are made. Have fun in both like I did!!!”
“Called the st. Charles store asked about a wire harness for a Mercury. The gentleman said they had it in stock. So, I drive from Eureka to St. Charles. That alone was a pain in the rear. However, i was greeted by a sweet old man to the marina section. Waited a while and finality a gentleman gave me a card and said i had to go to Earth City to get the part. Asked what time they close he said 6. So i drive to Earth City and they were closed. The store hours say close at 6, but when i get to the door there was a little sign saying they close at 5. So, needless to say what a waist of time and gas leaving me unhappy. But if i was looking for anything to do with fishing I would have to arive early cause there is so many fishing poles.”
“Great place to shop for something special. Tons of Xmas decor.
Lise makes you feel so welcome, worth going in just to see her.
You won’t walk out empty handed, can’t see it all in one trip.”
