1200 N 2nd St, St CharlesReally charming little café. The food tasted super fresh — I can’t say for sure if it’s organic, but it definitely had that clean, made-from-scratch feel. The pastries were delicious and clearly baked that day. Everything is made to order, so you walk up, order, grab a seat, and they bring the food out when it’s ready. Nobody checks on you afterward, which I actually liked — it’s nice to just relax and not be interrupted.
The vibe is cozy and kitschy, with that small-town café charm. There’s outdoor seating that looked lovely, though we stayed inside. The bathrooms were spotless, which I always appreciate.
The only thing I noticed — and I’ll be real — was the lack of cultural diversity among the staff and customers. It didn’t change the quality of the food or experience, but it did stand out.
Overall, really good food, clean space, great place to slow down and enjoy a fresh meal.

Loved the atmosphere, reminiscent of a holiday hallmark movie, and had a memorable night primarily due to the addicting food and great selection of sauces, as well as the swift and welcoming service of Paul and the rest of the staff. I’m not much of a BBQ guy but if I end up stopping by this side of town again then this will definitely be my first stop.

201 N Main St, St CharlesMy son and I , walked by the restaurant and read the menu. A lot of different choices. We dined around 1pm. Greeted when we entered, waitress was very pleasant and friendly. Ordered our food , which came out fresh and hot. It was delicious, tasted fresh and delicious. I would recommend this place as great. Will be back again.
