“I’ve never written a review before but this company really deserves some recognition. Ace is a frequent stop of mine lately as I live close by and am trying to refurbish furniture. I’ve just started and am extremely uneducated in the area of refurbishing. I’m aware of that and often feel insecure or stupid asking about tools etc. All of the employees consistently respond isn’t just helpful and polite. They are excited and their help and advice has passion behind it. I imagine they treat everyone who comes in like that and to consistently keep that level of character all day is really special.
What gave me the push to write this review is an incident recently that they handled in a truly upstanding, moral, ethical, and rare way in this day and age. Without getting too detailed I had a man follow me to the checkout line and listen for my phone number whilst I was giving it to the cashier for my membership. I was completely unaware of this until he texted and admitted in a way that he had followed me, listened to my number and wanted to pursue something. I called Ace as not only does that feel violating but I doubt they want customers who behave like that. They immediately prioritized it. They apologized (which they had no reason too, not their fault a creepy man came in) and made sure it made its way to the top. I emailed the information as they asked for it immediately (screenshots etc) and they were above proficient at making sure that will never happen again and even offering multiple ways for me to feel safe when I go in there next. I won’t utilize that because I think the situation was handled (thanks to them). But they did not need to go out of their way to do that, and they did in the kindest manner possible. Also shout out to the woman (cannot remember her name I’m sorry) who I had that last convo with. You’re awesome.
Anyways, ridiculously long review but they deserve to be praised in a world where businesses have lost their ethics and human decency.
If you need hardware etc, GO TO ACE. They have the best employees, are a great company, have consistent integrity, great tools, and great management.”
