“Had a fantastic experience at David's Bridal and found the perfect wedding dress! Cassandra, my stylist, was extremely helpful and so sweet. “I have been wearing the Brooks Dyad for several years and have never had an injury, blisters, etc. Unfortunately Brooks discontinued this specific shoe. I've ran my last pair of Dyad's into the ground and came to Peak Performance to find a shoe that would match closely to the Dyad. It's a difficult shoe to match. To me its pretty basic and fits my feet perfectly. Knowing this, AJ called several places trying to find my size in the Dyad. Much to my suprise, he found my size at another running store and arranged for me to call and have them send the shoe to me. AJ has always been great to work with. He continues to go above and beyond to make sure his customers are taken care of. Peak Performance is very lucky to have him as part of their team.

“I purchased a custom pair of boots in 2020 and have been very happy with them. My only complaint was that they're so nice I can't bring myself to wear them when I'm working outdoors and get them all beat up. Since then I've tried a bunch of off-the-shelf options. Nothing was really living up to my expectations and my thoughts turned back to Dehner. I saw Suzie's review but given my initial experience I decided to give them another shot anyway. I found out the previous owner passed around that time and the company has been transitioning to new ownership. I'm guessing they dropped the ball during all the confusion.
Fortunately, my experience with them has been completely the opposite. I wanted a custom station boot but they didn't really have anything like it on their website to start from. It involved a couple visits on site for measurements and double checking and a lot of back and forth communication. Then, the wait. From fitting to delivery was almost 6 months. But you can't rush perfection so I let them do their thing and they nailed it. The customizations and fit came out perfect on the first try!
It's a big investment up front and requires more patience to get through the process but over the long haul this will actually save you money as long as you do some basic care and maintenance. You can easily spend $750-$2000 over 10 years on normal boots since they need replaced every 1-3 years. You'll spend about 5 of those years walking around in boots that aren't properly broken in yet or are nearly worn out. Or your favorite style gets discontinued and you're left searching for something that's maybe almost as good as the ones you used to get. Start setting some extra cash aside and get a good pair of custom ones, you won't regret it.”

The staff were friendly, and one of the employees helped my husband pick out a hat that fit him well and suited what he was looking for. Since we’re currently traveling from New York to California, we didn’t want to carry the items with us, so we had the hat and boots ordered instead. The process was simple, and the staff made it easy to get everything arranged.”
“Store Manager Adam has been delightful to work with! I was looking for one particular pair of shoes at his location which he didn't have and they were sold out online. I got ahold of one of the KC stores where I met other store manager Damien (who was also incredible) who had the shoes! He partnered and worked with Adam to get these shoes shipped here so I wouldnt have to drive over 3 hours to get them. Adam has been beyond attentive, and has been keeping me filled in on shipping, to make sure I dont drive across town before they're here.
I couldn't be more greatful for the professionalism and next level of customer service Adam has shown. I said the same thing about Damien, but its true for Adam as well, you expect this level of service when purchasing a home or expensive vehicle, not a pair of shoes that is less than $50, yet I'm walking away from this experience feeling like I walked off the red carpet. Both team members should be recognized and should be considered for promotions and/or greater pay compensation.”

“It's not for bigger gals so really that is my fault not theirs that I am fat but I dont think I represent a minority sector of our Omaha I think half the woman in Omaha are XXL maybe I'm delusional or perhaps they were sold out of all the big lady sizes but very hard to find anything apparel wise that fit BUT the jewelry and accessories were awesome.”
