“My husband and I recently visited Rudolph's Run /wWalk shoes, and we had such a wonderful experience, thanks to Jamie. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a smile and immediately made us feel welcome. She measured my husband's feet the old-fashioned way which I honestly didn't know stores still did. Her knowledge was impressive. She patiently had him try on four different pairs of Hoka shoes, and explained the differences between each style. Jamie never rushed us and answered every question with confidence and kindness. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people find the right fit instead of just making a sale. “I purchased a custom pair of boots in 2020 and have been very happy with them. My only complaint was that they're so nice I can't bring myself to wear them when I'm working outdoors and get them all beat up. Since then I've tried a bunch of off-the-shelf options. Nothing was really living up to my expectations and my thoughts turned back to Dehner. I saw Suzie's review but given my initial experience I decided to give them another shot anyway. I found out the previous owner passed around that time and the company has been transitioning to new ownership. I'm guessing they dropped the ball during all the confusion.
Fortunately, my experience with them has been completely the opposite. I wanted a custom station boot but they didn't really have anything like it on their website to start from. It involved a couple visits on site for measurements and double checking and a lot of back and forth communication. Then, the wait. From fitting to delivery was almost 6 months. But you can't rush perfection so I let them do their thing and they nailed it. The customizations and fit came out perfect on the first try!
It's a big investment up front and requires more patience to get through the process but over the long haul this will actually save you money as long as you do some basic care and maintenance. You can easily spend $750-$2000 over 10 years on normal boots since they need replaced every 1-3 years. You'll spend about 5 of those years walking around in boots that aren't properly broken in yet or are nearly worn out. Or your favorite style gets discontinued and you're left searching for something that's maybe almost as good as the ones you used to get. Start setting some extra cash aside and get a good pair of custom ones, you won't regret it.”
“We dropped in to buy two new hats, We were greeted by Bella and her colleague who were absolutely amazing! Bella made recommendations and kept finding products we would like and that fit well. We left with a full head to toe outfit each! Not only did she give great service but told us as travellers passing through where we should go to eat nearby and then told us the county fair was on and we should go, which we did, fully kitted out and feeling great! “Store Manager Adam has been delightful to work with! I was looking for one particular pair of shoes at his location which he didn't have and they were sold out online. I got ahold of one of the KC stores where I met other store manager Damien (who was also incredible) who had the shoes! He partnered and worked with Adam to get these shoes shipped here so I wouldnt have to drive over 3 hours to get them. Adam has been beyond attentive, and has been keeping me filled in on shipping, to make sure I dont drive across town before they're here.
I couldn't be more greatful for the professionalism and next level of customer service Adam has shown. I said the same thing about Damien, but its true for Adam as well, you expect this level of service when purchasing a home or expensive vehicle, not a pair of shoes that is less than $50, yet I'm walking away from this experience feeling like I walked off the red carpet. Both team members should be recognized and should be considered for promotions and/or greater pay compensation.”

“Store is big and clean, i was asked numerous times on each visit if i need help finding something. A great selection of boots and outerwear. I went in for bootsocks and left with them and a winter coat. (Actually 2 new coats). Good prices and quality gear. I'll be goin back for more.”

While I’m still on edge regarding the timeline, I have full confidence they if anyone will keep their word and make things happen, it’s these ladies. My alterations appointment was today with Alecia, again an amazing experience. Great team of ladies!”
