“I could not be more happy and thrilled with the service I got at Lowes on Friday, March 29th. After getting the run around at one of the other big home improvement stores, I walked into Lowes and asked at customer service if they installed garbage disposals and how much it would cost. He called the plumbing department and knew in less than 5 minutes how much it would ccost. I went back at found a fun, knowledgeable person to answer my questions about the garbage disposals they had on hand, and another employee, again very knowledgeable and friendly, went with me to the register to get the purchase completed. I received a call to schedule installation that evening and we agreed on 3 PM the next day. Installer was a clean cut, friendly guy, very experienced with all types of plumbing configurations. In 24 hours after I first walked into Lowes, I had my new garbage disposal installed. A boring, not very fun purchase but all three employees were helpful and friendly, and the installer was also top notch.”

“These 5 stars go ONLY to the store & specific staff in Papillion (Pat & Craig the deliverers, Nami who called this morning & obviously knew the back story & made sure communication was clarified with the still problematic delivery person_s_ from warehouse) & the delivery supervisor Corey who worked to get my freezer delivered today I stead of another week & probably still no delivery. Pat & Craig both were equally super great & should be given recognition for excellence in delivery, customer service & great attitudes. They took time to look out for the safety of my entry, walls, railing, took doors off & put them back on & didn't scratch anything, gave me the info to not plug it in for so many hours, looked it over, & took the packing trash out. The store did a good job fixing a series of non-deliveries that made me feel I was being dismissed, toyed with & not valued as a customer whatsoever. After two other no shows starting Jan 8th (only one due to weather) I called Thursday at 2 pm to make sure the truck was really going to my house between 2:30 & 6:30 & was told yes. At 6 I called & was told I was number #15 & the truck was at house #12. I called at 8 as I still had not gotten called with the 30 min notice they were on their way. The person texted it was rescheduled to Feb 2. I spent the next hour on the phone trying to get help. Then spent the best few hours & next day thinking how I could tell the most locals to not order from Home Depot if they want their stuff delivered within a few months. One friend told me it took a year to get her oven. An in-law has waited over 6-8 months for doors. Others shared their bad experiences. It's not always about availability. It's the problematic delivery system. I still believe that the truck delivery guys decided to stop for the night on the last failed delivery. I would need to see a doctors statement to believe someone fell off a ramp. Why? Because one of the delivery guys called me by mistake today & got the plan for delivery wrong & copped an attitude when he let me know he'd be at my house a little after noon & I'd been told by the delivery supervisor it would be delivered to the store in Papillion & then delivered to my house after 2. The delivery guy said he wanted to be home by 2 so that didn't work. I said I was in a massage as scheduled & would be home at 2, as agreed with Corey yesterday. Nami called & cleared that up & apologized. The guy called again & informed me he'd be taking it to the store. Two more calls as I was supposed to be getting a massage for pain relief, it was settled it would arrive after 2pm. Nami also called to let me know the truck from Papillion had left. From that point on the delivery was a breeze. This is why people can go postal & how little old lady Sunday School teachers can start using very bad words. I worked hard Thursday night to get ahold of Corporate doing everything I could to not have to wait another week. One person on the help hotline even told me the warehouse had no address. I found the invisible warehouse and was going to drive there in person and look people in the face, but then after insisting on the phone to speak to a delivery supervisor, I got to talk to Corey. He was polite, and because of his effort & the store doing what I'd asked for a few times from the delivery people who said it wasn't going to happen, I now have my freezer.I probably will never buy another appliance online through Home Depot just because that delivery experience was so bad, but at least at this point I'll continue to shop there in person if I need to.”

“Allison most gracious and helpful when I accidentally left a notebook there. She secured it for me and brought it out to the car when I went back to retrieve it.”

“APPLIANCE DEPT. Called in Saturday after being shooed away from Lowe’s saying the don’t deliver to West Point (lie). We spoke with a guy who said he wasn’t sure and would call us back.I decided to go in while I waited for the call back and ended up speaking with such a helpful and kind older gentleman. He really was wonderful. I asked him if they would deliver to West Point. He got up, grabbed the barcode off of an appliance and asked our zip code and assured us that they did in-fact deliver. While speaking to him, the man we were on the phone came up to a blonde woman also at the appliance area, at the desk right behind where the gentleman’s was. He asked her if they would deliver out to West Point and she immediately said “NO. THIRTY MILES”. I was trying to get his attention as he was less than 10ft from me to tell him…it was me that called and lady…YES YOU DO. He walked away and called me back 5 minutes later and told him..”I heard you speaking with the woman, I was right there and she told you wrong. Thanks for your time though”.Idk why all of these improvement stores are shooing people away. If it’s out of laziness or lack of knowledge and communication, but it was very frustrating.1. That older gentleman with the one dilated pupil and the shiny silver watch needs a raise and some serious appreciation. He went out of his way to help us. Being older, he actually got his rear end up out of that seat, while the younger ones just sat there looking down.2. USE THIS MAN AS A MODEL OF WHAT YOUR EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE LIKE AND TRAIN THEM AS SUCH3. Get everyone on the same page. I should not be told conflicting information, nor should any other shopper getting ready to spend a serious amount of money at your establishment.4. Have your appliance employees run the model online and to the zip code. SHOPPERS- if you go somewhere like Lowe’s or HDepot…if they tell you they don’t deliver…get online and punch your zip in. Bet they do. SHOW THEM.”

“Got ready to build a deck 4th of July weekend. I had no idea how much wood and other items I would need. Your mill department was helpful. They walked me through the process patiently.I then ended up not keeping everything I purchased. Your customer service department helped me with that process.I really don't like hone improvement projects - so your staffs help made it easier.”

“The last time I went, which was today. The tallest girl in the store took care of me in the best way possible, and like I had never been served before in that store.”

“People here are generally pretty helpful and take you to the things you ask about, now if only they could read my mind so I don't have to come back 3 times for the things I keep forgetting lol. But overall it's pretty ok.”

“Had a great experience last week in the Appliance section with Abby. She was Awesome! We purchased our entire kitchen suite of appliances thanks to her. It was later in the afternoon & she was very generous, she offered to look things up at different stores, pointed out other display models etc. I really appreciated her great customer service! Plus we received 11% off woot!”

“I don’t have anything against Lowe’s but I am someone that prefers to shop at Home Depot. However, I will only be getting my paint here from now on. The older gentleman with glasses (I can’t believe I forgot his name) really knows his stuff when it comes to matching colors and giving advice and his customer service is incredible. I’ve never had a match come closer to his. I came in once at 8:50 when they closed at 9. 9:15 rolls around and he’s insisting he gets it exactly right for me. When he’s finally finished he says feel free to bring it back and he can make tiny adjustments if needed. I also wasn’t charged for the poor color match another associate did a week prior. It was an exact match and I was happy I didn’t have to paint the entire room again. Lowe’s also partners with Sherman Williams so they can match their colors as well as Valspar.”

“Located off of Industrial/L Street and 120th, parking was no issue today. Staff provided the help to find the right aisle for paint brushes and portable gas containers. Prices were very reasonable, and even though checkout took a while due to a distracted clerk who didn't see us at checkout 4, everything else was pretty good at this Home Depot.”
