“Maverik is hands down the best gas station or convenience store in Battle Mountain. It’s located near the freeway so it’s an easy off to get there. It’s also quite spacious with many different pumps. There are 10 pumps for gas or car diesel and 20 pumps for tractor or semi diesel. Inside it’s spacious and clean and new. There is just about any snack you can think of any drink of soda, energy, drink, juice, milk, coffee, or icee. You can get most supplies and even some alcohol. Outside, they have tables and chair chairs for you to sit and enjoy the weather. They have ice machines, firewood, and even propane. The bathrooms are kept clean and this place has it together. The employees are extremely nice and quite hopeful. If you’re looking for a place to stop in the Nevada desert, this is the place.”

“Was on the road for 18 hours and had a bit more to go to make it to Reno from there, however this place had the best bathroom and store that I've seen on the road. Staff were very friendly and seems like they are working hard to turn it around it seems. Definitely recommend it!”

“I've been running the i-80 for many years, and I finally stopped in here. I had an enchanting time real late at night. They were still serving food at like 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning. The drinks were only $3.75 Cuervo and orange juice. I haven't seen that price since the '90s. Christina is a great server. This place is going to be another reason why I like Nevada. A person ain't going to find three drinks, a huevos rancheros, a charming atmosphere at one or two in the morning for $21 anywhere.”
