“Did not expect this roadtrip haven in the middle of a dead section of Nevada. Loved the sayings all over the bathroom. Good food options and gift ideas for friends and family.

And for Fallout: New Vegas fans... you're in Powder Ganger territory here, so watch out! Lol”

“Don’t let the name fool you—The Terrible Chevron is a place you must stop and explore. It’s not just a gas station; it’s an experience. Step inside and you’ll find a wild variety of items you didn’t even know you needed. You’ll probably end up buying something totally random—something you could definitely get cheaper online—but hey, you’re here now, so why not? ? The Drink selection of Sodas and energy drink is awesome ?.

The gas pumps? Massive. There’s hardly any waiting ?, which is honestly a rare blessing?. Sure, the fuel prices are on the high side (okay, they’re objectively steep), but the convenience and novelty kind of make up for it.

Yes, it’s expensive. Yes, it’s a gas station. But somehow… it’s also kind of a destination. Worth a stop, even if just for the weirdly satisfying retail therapy to fulfill your crazy gas station stop.

The rest areas inside are incredible, the bathrooms are super clean ?”

“This place is the King of Gas Stations. I've traveled a lot. All over this country & never seen a gas station quite like this. They have everything even a White Castle. Places is extremely organized & clean & the staff is very friendly. They have every flavor of every brand. If your going on a road trip to California I definitely recommend stopping here to check it out & grab some snacks.”

“Perfect place to rest if you don’t like over crowding. Especially if you’re picking up in Vegas. No restaurants in this spot but for those who cook in their truck you’re good to go. They have RR inside and porta potties outside as well. Places to eat close enough if you really want to dine out. Or maybe even door dash. It won’t be hard to find you in this spot. Reset and spend a few bucks inside the convenience store. Fuel and gas pumps work.”

“There are 2 gas stations on either side of the convenience store: One9 and Chevron. If you need diesel and your truck/car can fit the larger nozzle, then go to the One9 dealer. When we visited on 1/1/2025, diesel at One9 was $3.39 whereas Chevron was $4.39.”
