The UNLV Surplus Center offers a wide variety of repurposed items like computers, furniture, and scientific equipment to university departments and the general public. It provides great deals and extremely attractive prices on high-quality items, helping the environment by reducing landfill. The staff is super helpful, highly professional, and very prompt, often going outside their typical duties to assist with securing items, loading, and ensuring functionality. They are ready to step up to help with extra time for pickup and special requests. New inventory arrives all the time, so checking frequently is recommended. The center is a great place to find tons of office and home furniture, with customers saving hundreds of dollars. It serves UNLV and the community with amazing customer service.
Being always on the lookout for shops that give old computers a new lease on life like Free Geek Twin Cities, I had to stop in at UNLV's surplus store during my Vegas visit. If you need/want a cheap laptop, this place has them: I found a ThinkPad for just 25 bucks, and I look forward to tinkering with it!

I do not usually leave reviews, but I am very happy to leave one for this center. The assistance I received was very prompt and professional. Bo gladly helped me prepare my item for shipment. I will definitely use this service again if I have the opportunity.
