*update* the “3rd party delivery” they use is AWFUL! 1 guy came w his dog in an old van w my couch jammed in the back with a bunch of junk. I had to physical help him disassemble my couch and carry it up the stairs w him. What a joke for $120. I’d like half of my delivery fee back. American freight was very misleading about what this “3rd party delivery company” is actually capable of and not capable of.

“I visited Nevada Vacuum on 4/10/24. I was kindly assisted by Marc, and his adorable furry "supervisor" Lucy. I needed a new electrical cord for my vacuum. Marc's expert eye also noticed a support feature on my vacuum was cracked and saved me the time of a return visit by replacing both items on the spot. “On September 20, 2024, I came in contact with Stacie Fischer who helped me purchase a gas range I needed, for an apartment. I paid by check. I put the delivery off until the 30th. She stated there would be a 4 hour window. "They would call me the night before. "They" never did! I am out of town about 25 miles North. When the deliverer called, they gave me 15 minutes. I told him, "they said" I would have an hour because I live so far from town. I'll make it as soon as I can. They got there within 5 minutes of my arrival. The driver & his bud were already paid, but because it's a "grandfathered" building, of course the size of the gas outlet was not the right size for them, so although they brought the range up to the 2nd floor, they would not install, so they brought the new one in, & took the old one out. I got my handyman to put it in. After going in, after the deliverers, I realized the rack for the broiler was not included. I headed back out to Spanish Springs store from Reno, & told Carol. Stacie was off that day, so Carol helped me, but said I had to call a certain number, & they would send it to me. I said, "How about the broiler pan? I didn't get that either!" When Carol looked it up, the computer showed that a broiler pan has not been included since 2007. What?! (I'm sure my Mom was rolling over in her grave!) ...An Italian family cook of 6! By the time I got home I had 2 calls from Carol, stating she didn't know why she didn't think about it, but 2 Managers & herself decided to give me a broiler rack from the same model in the store. They would put it away for me to pick up the next day. Carol was going to be on her day off. She would inform Stacie Fischer, who originally helped me with the purchase. True to Home Depot's word, there it was, as stated, the next morning! Not only did Stacie make sure I got it as promised, but she took me up to the Service Counter, calling someone in back, to make sure I got my money back for set-up, never done by their 3rd party drop-off guys, from the day before.
In all the times (years - at least 40,) I have come to Home Depot, this is the first time I have ever been truly helped, but it just goes to show...it takes a village to solve a problem(s)...2 workers, 2 supervisors, the lady in the back on computer to help me get my additional cash money the deliverers did not use for lack of installation; cash money back, because of my check, and it all started with Stacie Fischer, who wanted to make sure all went well, and I was satisfied, not only with my purchase, but with the service of Home Depot. You have a great employee there, & I loved the helping hand by the rest of the crew. You're finally understanding what it takes to solve problems! You should be proud of these workers who went above & beyond. (I was used to men "helpers" walking down an aisle, making that 1,000th of a second eye contact with a female, break that eye contact, and almost run to another aisle NOT to have to deal with a female "in a man's store.") After having this happen to me for so many years, here's what I learned, instead of being red hot about it...I'd run right after them, and yell, "Hey you, that just headed down another aisle after pretending not to see me..."(I'm 5' 5" & weigh 120,) I need your help!" (It would work every time! They'd be embarrassed back to the aisle I needed them on!) Thank you ladies! Great job! Patricia R.”

From the moment I entered the building, I was warmly greeted by Hailey, who asked me a few questions to assist in getting me together with the right showroom -consultant, who ended up being Hollie.I was there to select and purchase various items for an upcoming bathroom remodel project. Hollie was not only friendly and personable, but super knowledgeable about these products (tub, toilet, vanity, sinks and various plumbing hardware that goes along with it.) Any time she wanted to be sure of something, we went back to her desk to look it up on her computer. I guess I may have taken close to 2 hours of her time, but genuinely felt like everything was nailed down upon my departure. I never felt like I was with a sales individual, but with someone who asked questions, listened to my responses and guided me in the direction of my best interests. “My Kitchen and Bath Designer recommended Ferguson and, specifically, Mindi Seidel (Hynek), sales consultant. Mindi was great from the start. She helped me find my preferred JennAir line of kitchen products. Then, when we discovered that the JennAir Induction Range was no longer available, Mindi quickly found a Bosch substitute that was also the right size for my kitchen. (Problem solved.) Much later, when I was registering products, the online JennAir agent asked for a photo of the model number on the Hood, which I could not find on the installed product. Once again - here's Mindi, to-the-rescue: "Can you take the grates out of the hood and take a picture of the serial/part number that way?" Yes, I could! (Again, problem solved.) Mindi has always been willing to answer questions even after products were installed. It is so helpful to be able to stay in contact with the same sales person. I am very grateful for the good customer service at Ferguson in Reno.”

“Toro, associate from the gardening department, was of tremendous help today as he assisted me in unlocking the spool compartment of my Ryobi weed wacker which I had just bought from here a couple of weeks ago. Everything was working just fine, until I accidentally fed the line back in and was having trouble taking it apart to feed it back out. Toro helped fix this issue with great expertise. Thank you!”

“I ordered custom blinds and we(them/me) had reversed the measurements on the width and height, since it was a special order, refunds are not allowed. The returns cashier, blinds/curtains specialist, and manager(needed to approve the return) we're all amazing. This Home Depot goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. I never hesitate to buy from this store because if I need to take something back, these guys have a lot of empathy and treats each transaction case by case and makes judgements that go beyond store policy. “Very positive experience at the paint department. The representative went out of his way to make it a good experience. My paint was mixed and ready in minutes, given the pourable spout as well as the wooden stirrer and can opener. My paint was tested on the top and dried to show the exact color was correct. He also let me know that Home Depot will also save the colors that you purchase in their system under your name. Nice! Busy time and I had the painters already in my home so appreciated the speedy and efficient service! Not to mention I love Behr paint, can always find the color and finish I want.”
