“I went to Home Depot on Thursday morning to purchase various items for a project I’m having built—a small roof-like cover over my air conditioner to help protect it from bird droppings.
I brought a photo of what I wanted to build, and I was absolutely amazed by the service I received. Three incredible Home Depot employees—Ed in the Paint Department, Mike in Delivery, and Byron in Order Fulfillment—worked together to help me with every detail of the project. They went above and beyond, right down to helping me determine the correct size nails I would need.
They also thought of things I hadn’t even considered, such as recommending that I paint the wooden posts because of the weather conditions here. They offered suggestions and advice that went well beyond simply helping me find the items on my list. Their teamwork, knowledge, patience, and willingness to help were truly exceptional.
I cannot thank Ed, Mike, and Byron enough for all of their help and advice. They made what could have been a confusing project so much easier, and I genuinely appreciated the time and effort they put into helping me.
I sincerely hope Home Depot recognizes these three employees for their outstanding customer service. Whether that means a bonus, reward, or simply some well-deserved recognition, they absolutely deserve it. Employees like Ed, Mike, and Byron are a wonderful reflection of what great customer service should be.

“If your looking to pick up an order quickly on a Sunday absolutely never do curbside pick up in the middle of a Sunday, I waited in my car for 20 minutes just end up going inside to the counter and physically pick it up from the online order counter. It's not the employees fault I just think they could use an extra couple people working online orders over the weekends to accommodate the diy weekend warrior rush”

“My Kitchen and Bath Designer recommended Ferguson and, specifically, Mindi Seidel (Hynek), sales consultant. Mindi was great from the start. She helped me find my preferred JennAir line of kitchen products. Then, when we discovered that the JennAir Induction Range was no longer available, Mindi quickly found a Bosch substitute that was also the right size for my kitchen. (Problem solved.) Much later, when I was registering products, the online JennAir agent asked for a photo of the model number on the Hood, which I could not find on the installed product. Once again - here's Mindi, to-the-rescue: "Can you take the grates out of the hood and take a picture of the serial/part number that way?" Yes, I could! (Again, problem solved.) Mindi has always been willing to answer questions even after products were installed. It is so helpful to be able to stay in contact with the same sales person. I am very grateful for the good customer service at Ferguson in Reno.”

“I can't say enough positive things about this place! From the moment I entered the building, I was warmly greeted by Hailey, who asked me a few questions to assist in getting me together with the right showroom -consultant, who ended up being Hollie.I was there to select and purchase various items for an upcoming bathroom remodel project. Hollie was not only friendly and personable, but super knowledgeable about these products (tub, toilet, vanity, sinks and various plumbing hardware that goes along with it.) Any time she wanted to be sure of something, we went back to her desk to look it up on her computer. I guess I may have taken close to 2 hours of her time, but genuinely felt like everything was nailed down upon my departure. I never felt like I was with a sales individual, but with someone who asked questions, listened to my responses and guided me in the direction of my best interests. A+ customer service!Both Hailey and Hollie are wonderful ambassadors for Ferguson Plumbing Supply. I'm SO glad I went there!”

“Fantastic store. Beautiful plants! Every type you can think of, including poinsettias. Also, all caretaking products.
I actually only have one small issue. I only have one suggestion, comment. The price wasn't on one of my plant items, and the young ladies at register told me to walk back over to get the price. I didn't mind - but when I returned with a duplicate item, they requested I go back again, because one of the items I was buying was all twisted up. I didn't twist it, I'm not sure how it got that way. I said I'd buy it as is.
If I was working there, I wouldn't think that was an appropriate way, to treat a customer. They were young, and chatting with one another. I understand it; I wasn't angry. I will return to store, it's one of my favorite places.”
“My favorite Lowe's in Reno area. Went to the one up by Scheels and pretty much got treated like I was interrupting this old boys morning of using a price gun to mark suckers. Went down south Reno, picked up the tools I needed, no drama.”

“Overall i do like Home Depot. A couple week's ago I came into this location needing to get a tree stand and a Christmas tree. There were 4 employee's standing near the Christmas area so i walked up to ask a question and all of them walked away. One female employee happened to walk by and asked if i needed help with anything. As I explained what i was in search of,she walked me to the area. I picked out my tree and she said I'll send out the guy who cuts the ends off the tree. I waited almost 20min. Never buy Christmas tree's here. The tree i bought lasted a little over 2weeks. I kept water in it & used the tree reserve and it didn't last.”

“Kevin was great to work with. He wasn't pushy but did stay with us most of the time which was good because we had a lot of questions. He left us alone so we could go back and forth to the appliances we wanted. We bought a washer, dryer and refrigerator. They were installed yesterday and so far so good. The delivery was within the quoted time and they were able to change our delivery date. I forgot to mention they held our order for a month until our house closed. From beginning to end it was a pleasant experience.”
