“We were traveling through Reno on a hot Friday afternoon in June when our 2018 Toyota Highlander, filled with fresh food and groceries for a family reunion in Tahoe, suddenly flashed a message that we needed to get to the dealer. The car started acting strangely, so we pulled into a gas station.
We called our daughter, who lives in Reno, and she said to call Preferred Auto, her mechanic of choice. We called Leo at Preferred Auto and explained our predicament. He said bring it on over.
He immediately ran a diagnostics on it, told us what the problem was and assured us that he could get the part and repair it in under 2 hours. Our friends were able to pick us (and our fresh food and groceries!!!) while my husband waited with our car.
In less than 2 hours, we were packed up in our repaired Highlander and on our way to Tahoe.
We felt so fortunate that Leo was able to squeeze us in and help insure our family reunion was able to begin with just a tiny delay. Our Highlander has continued to run like a charm, all around Tahoe, Reno and all the way back to Colorado! Thank you Leo!! I highly recommend Preferred Auto Reno!”

“I had an exceptional experience with the Lexus service department, especially because of Julie. She was professional, thorough, and made sure my car was taken care of properly from start to finish. But what truly stood out was how far she went beyond her job to help me.
When i returned my loaner car, I accidentallly left my 5 year old granddaughter's Elsa dresses and matching shoes in the trunk. I didn't realize it until after the service department had closed, and her birthday party was the next day. I was absolutely panicked!
Julie stayed after work, found the car and the keys, retrieved the dresses and shoes, and then drove them all the way to my house. I was so touched by her kindness and thoughtfulness. She absolutely did not have to do that, but she went out of her way to help me.
Julie is the perfect example of what outstanding customer service looks like. She took excellent care of my car, but more importantly, she took care of me. Lexus is incredibly lucky to have someone like Julie representling their dealership.

“I’ve been to jiffy lube with my car twice and they couldn’t get my alignment right even with a mechanic who preach his 30 years of experience. I’ve been to pep boys where they have mechanic who can’t drive stick and couldn’t get my car in the shop. This alignment shop was able to get every problem kinked out and got my car handling properly. After 2 weeks I’m very happy I can take my car on the road without a worry in my head. 10/10 I’ll recommend this shop to anyone. The mechanic asked questions to get my car to the spec I was looking for and did it in a timely manner.”

“Tried this place to get my ac on my 2013 dodge charger fix. It was amazing they got it done in a couple of hours. Setting up the appointment was really easy and the lady who set my appointment with easy to talk to really nice and friendly. The office was clean with snacks and water to drink. If you talk to the stuff they talk with you and hold a good conversation it was really nice place and staff. They looked over my whole car, took pictures of things they found that I need to fix. It’s really nice to see them take the initiative not to many places do that anymore. Pricing was really reasonable as well. I’ll definitely be going back.”
“Check engine light came on in my 2012 BMW X5 diesel. Turned out to be problem with the DEF system which had to be replaced. Techs did a great job of explaining what was wrong and options. I opted for replacing the system. Not cheap, but SAS has cared for my last three BMW’s and I’ve been very happy with the honesty and the quality of their work. Happy I opted to do the repair properly after weighing the options.”
