“MAVERICK seldom disappoints. This one is tucked away on Hanson and Haskel. Plenty of pumps and plenty of space, even for an RV and toad. Room to drive the RV all the way around building if need be. Clean. Friendly. Many food and snack choices. I am obsessed with the FRENCH TOAST TORNADO, they were already sold out, get there early morning to pick one up!”
“Listen, I rolled into the Flying J at 3:17 AM because my 'Check Engine' light was flickering to the beat of my heart and I needed to stabilize the situation. This place is basically the Taj Mahal of the interstate.
I walked inside and the lights were SO BRIGHT. I felt like I was being abducted, but in a good way. I headed straight for the roller grill because I saw a Buffalo Chicken Tornado spinning there that looked like it had been aging since the Obama administration. I ate three of them before I even got to the counter. The flavor profile? Pure survival.
I asked the cashier if I could use the 'Professional Driver' lounge to take a nap because I hauled a washing machine across town in my hatchback earlier, so I’m basically a trucker. She said no. She said I needed a CDL. I told her, 'Sweetheart, out in the Ranchos, a CDL is just a piece of paper. Experience is the real license.' She threatened to call the cops, which I respect. She’s got boundaries.
Five stars because the bathroom was clean enough to see my own reflection (which was terrifying) and they sell those 5-Hour Energy shots that I like to mix with my Mountain Dew to help me see through time.
Pro Tip: If you stand by the diesel pumps long enough, the fumes really clear your sinuses. Also, don't try to weigh your truck on the CAT scale if it's just a Honda with the doors taken off. They get mad.”

“The only reason this is a 5 star review is that management jumped into action on a rude employee name Janette that was giving me issues and discriminating, Janette let this be a lesson learned customers always come first and for management you are awesome!! Thank you so much for your fast action in the matter for making my loves experience better even though Janette was being rude and rolling her eyes and refused to apologize to me for how she treated me. Way to turn a horrendous harassment into a wonderful experience. Janette needs to learn some customer service for next time hopefully she will.....”
