“Stopped here after recommendation from friends. Best blueberry pie I've ever had - and very inexpensive. Great blueberry muffins. Bought jams, jellies, and creamed honey also.”
“In my search of a good cup of coffee, I ventured into the Country Market and found that I had travelled back in time to my childhood. I grew up a long way from St. George but some things are universal. Ever since that first visit, I always rely on the Country Market to have hot, fresh coffee ready brewed from local beans from Java Moose out of Saint John. After finding this little gem, I have experienced just about everything the local bakery can offer from the obvious baked goods and pies, to freshly made sandwiches with your choice of fixings and the excellent selection of candies that remind me of a time when corner stores sold penny candies in jars behind the counter, just like at the Country Market.Their frozen, prepared meals are always delicious and there is usually soup, or in my case dog, bones in the freezer. And, if not, just ask and the friendly staff will get them from the back. I am forgetting so many reasons for why I love this little store on Main Street in St. George. Stop by and find something from your childhood., like the favourite dessert square your Nan used to make. I am sure it is on their shelves.”
“Fantastic little market. I've been driving across Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and this is best place I've stopped in at, hands down. All the essentials, and some lovely local produce ??”
“They are very covid 19 aware. You have to wait in line to go in .only a certain amount of people are allowed in at a time. Follow the lines wait your turn to be checked out.”
“The food here is genuinely impressive. The Indian dishes. Especially the chilli chicken are a must try. The staff are always friendly, and every time I visit they serve consistently great food. I highly recommend giving this place a try.”
