“I avoid grocery stores as the hustle and bustle gets to be too distracting and loud for me. But this experience, shopping at what I would consider an older Market Basket (I still call it Demoulas!) was fabulous!I feel their selection of foods, especially as someone who loves to cook/eat Italian, is the best I've seen in any grocery in the area.The folks were friendly and I even exchanged recipes standing in the produce section with fellow shoppers!The scali bread is soft inside, crispy outside as it should be! No one makes scali like Market Basket!Our cashier was hysterical and we giggled our way through the checkout line. A nice experience all-in-all and this is where we'll do the bulk of our grocery shopping from now on while staying in the area!”
“The prepared foods here are top notch! Always a different selection every day. My favorites are the salmon, kale salad, green beans with shiitake mushrooms. Mmmm everything is so yummy here!”
“Jenny 1st year in the sub section is the absolute best. I travel alot throughout mass/nh for work and have had many mb subs. She's super efficient, always pleasant and for some reason her steak and cheese is hands down above the rest of mbs I've visited, could easily compete with strictly sub shops but with value. I know I'm in luck when I see her there.”
“Nice little market for a small shop. Meats are nice quality at low prices. Just started making breakfast sandwiches and keeping them up front my cash registers. All the cashiers are nice but Rory really stands out. Just efficient but a genuine person. I do enjoy that there’s a select few dairy free brands in store as well. Very accessible!”
“Love the large super center they have in Epping. Prices have gone up on everything. Clean store with a large selection of everything. Hannafords meats are cheaper. Paper goods and condiments are less at MB.”
“My family have been regular satisfied shoppers @ the West Newbury Food Mart since 1984. Many more Town residents & folks passing through have had the satisfaction of starting the day or shopping after work, or both for a much longer time. Family owned the store is constandly adding new products for healthy meals.”

“This location has a stir fry station (you pick and they cook) which was not just reasonably priced but kind of a bit of a deal. It also has a hot foods bar (hours vary). No soup station anymore BUT they also have a customer 'kitchen' which is really just an eating area with a microwave. Love it! Thanks, Hannaford!”

“I was discharged from a hospital cardiac ward with the explicit instructions to start a heart arrhythmia medication. I called my usual pharmacy to see if they had my prescription. They told me they had but failed to inform me that they did not have the medication. I then called Hannaford Pharmacy in Hampstead and talked to Rachel Porter. She was more than helpful and was determined to fill my prescription. Thanks for the help. I am sure she would be as helpful to everyone.”
“It's what you would expect from a Walmart. Varied selection so you can buy anything from food, to clothes, to fishing supplies, paint supplies, a new book. Be prepared to check yourself out, they rarely have more than 1 or 2 staffed check-out lanes open.”

“A lot of people dis Walmart. I have found the quality does vary from store to store. The Plaistow Walmart is pretty good. You can get pretty much everything you need there, from clothes, to hardware. To electronics, to home health and more. They are usually pretty well stocked. I find the Methuen store has a better clothes selection.”

We do pick blueberries when they’re ready, usually about 40 pounds (we don’t pick all at once), they freeze so well and we eat them all year long. Taste like fresh. We love Monahans every year!
