“I live over in Ossipee and when I looked on yelp for cobblers in the area, Daubs came up and so I read some of the reviews of them. Once reading them, I knew a trip over there was warranted, as they seemed to be the best in the area. I brought a set of boots I love that had its heel come loose. Jim gave me a price and even said he would repair both heels so the other one wouldn't fail. I felt his price was very fair and left the boots and was told it would be 2 weeks. Today, I got a text saying they were ready and it was only a week that they had these boots. When I got there to pick them up, we discussed how I could clean them up a bit, so they'll last. He not only sold me a boot creme in the color I needed, but he also showed me on one of them how to do it. Before leaving he even gave me the name of a local dry cleaner, as we are fairly new to the area....Jim is one of the reasons, we love living in small town America. He values his customers and appreciates one business.”
