If you are looking for a fabulous dog trainer that knows what they are doing, and truly cares about their clients (you and your dog), Kristen and the team at UPK9NJ are it. Seriously, look no further. Reviews and experience say it all. I looked to Kristen for help with a rather difficult and drivey working line German Shepherd import. I wasn’t just looking for a pet that would sit when I told her to, not to be crazy in the house, and not drag me down the street. I had done quite a bit of foundation and basic obedience work and was looking for help cleaning up and finishing off some of these behaviors, as well as the ultimate for any dog… Off leash obedience and reliability. So with that, I consulted with Kristen and we came up with a plan. She took the time to understand where we were at and what I wanted to accomplish. We made a long-term plan. I conditioned the ecollar and turned my dog over to Kristen for a three week board and train. I was upset and nervous as one could be making a commitment like that. When I dropped the dog off I met Kristen in person and toured the facility. I felt as if I couldn’t have possibly made a better decision. All my concerns vanished. Three weeks later, after having to very detailed and hands-on take on visits, I got to see the results and my dog. They were amazing. Kristen was very thorough and detail oriented and explaining the processes that would follow to continue to build and maintain your obedience and everything that has been learned. As time went on, I realized what my dog was capable of. We had a few hiccups here and there but Kristen was always there to help and gave 100%. I kept wanting to go further and further with my dog. Teaching additional behaviors, commands, tricks, so on and so forth. I booked additional sessions and consultations. Kristen always delivered. She’s very passionate about what she does. My dog is now almost a year and a half old. Kristen had my dog when she was between six and seven months old. My dog is amazing. I can take her anywhere. She goes nearly everywhere with me. People ask to take pictures and videos of her. Some don’t ask they just do it… LOL. She always steals the show. We live a life that I would have never imagined. One that far exceeds my expectations. I can’t thank Kristen and the team at UPK9NJ enough.

Beets Juice Bar is so good. Even though it's a chain, it doesn't feel like one, which I love. It has more of a local, neighborhood vibe compared to places like Playa Bowls, and that makes a big difference. Service is not super fast but moves reasonably quick. I usually go for their açaí bowls and protein balls, but my absolute favorite is the Berry Loco smoothie. It's my go-to every time. Always fresh, always delicious.
