The staff string the racquets right there in the store! I also purchased a head bag, Mizuno sneakers, tennis skirt and top and tennis balls. The woman at the counter (I didn't catch her name) was very sweet as well. Both Carlos and the owner took the extra step to suggest ways I could find a tennis partner as I currently have no one to hit with. I'm ready to set foot on the courts! “I had a great experience with Scuba Network! When I got a last minute invitation to join an old friend on a scuba diving trip, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. Unfortunately, I hadn't been diving in 30 years! I called the folks at Scuba Network and everyone I engaged with was extremely accommodating. They helped me sign up for an eLearning refresher course and encouraged me to grab the last spot in an upcoming beginner's, in-person, 2-day pool dive to reacquaint myself with the gear and familiarize myself with some new technology since I last dove (goodbye dive tables, hello dive computers!). They equipped me with all the regular gear and even helped me pick out a scuba mask with reading bifocals when I told them after the first day that I couldn't read my gauges. (Yes, bifocal masks are a thing!)
Ryan Hoffman, my dive instructor, was fantastic. He was patient, easy-to-understand, thorough, and kept things moving well. He also didn't miss a thing. If someone seemed nervous during an underwater exercise, he was right there to put them at ease and help them master it. If someone didn't clear their mask of water fully, he had them try again until they crushed it. At every step he was enabling us to know how to do for ourselves because in Scuba, though it's a buddy sport, you don't want to leave the details to anyone else -- you're safest when you are self-sufficient.
Within days, I felt as confident about scuba diving as I did 30 years ago when I got certified -- no, actually, I felt more confident! I can't wait to get back in the open water now, and I'm even considering getting my kids to take up this past time so we can go as a family. If so, I'll take them to Scuba Network to learn!”

“I went into the store today looking for my first ever pair of running shoes. I was quickly greeted and James offered to help me find the right shoe. He scanned my feet to get a better idea of what my foot needs in terms of an adequate pair of trainers. He gave me over 5 different options to try out and was so patient with me while I tried several on. He was able to explain how they differ and what would ultimately be most beneficial for my specific training. James was very knowledgeable and kind along with the other sales reps. Great customer service and very welcoming ambiance.”

“I was really surprised to find out that Puma offers embroidery services now! I decided to try it out and I'm so glad I did. The service was really good and exceeded my expectations.
Joan was incredibly sweet and patient with all of my requests. I had quite a few specific demands for how I wanted my Speedcat shoes customized, and he handled everything professionally. The embroidered name came out perfect, the quality and placement were exactly what I wanted.
This experience has honestly changed my opinion of Puma as a brand. The personal touch and excellent customer service really impressed me. I'm definitely planning to buy more Puma products in the future. Highly recommend giving their embroidery service a try if you want to personalize your gear!”
“Very friendly and professional people over at Soled Out, I was impressed with all aspects of my purchase from the fair price, to the ship time, to the packaging! They even threw in a free shoe cleaning kit in my order (don't automatically expect them to do this for you) I definitely recommend shopping with them you certainly won't be disappointed!
P.S.- Don't listen to any of the ridiculous 1 star reviews..those people certainly aren't the smartest and are either being petty or just straight up didn't read the listing description like they were supposed to or look at any of the pictures ? I ended up not being able to complete the project with him since there was a shipping delay with an item on my end that needed the screen printing done. Anthony was understanding and canceled my order request.

“Burton NYC is THE premier shop for snow gear, winter wear, goggles, helmets, boards, and most importantly customer service. Their team of staff are friendly, knowledgeable and patient when you need anything done. Whether it’s to help with shopping for the proper snow pants, to fixing up your beloved snowboards they have it on lock. Today I had a bit of a hiccup and they tackled the problem, and rectified it in the shortest time I’ve ever experienced. If you want a reliable, friendly, neighborhood like shop here in NYC, this is the place to go.
