“I have always been so happy with this Fleet Feet location. The staff are super friendly and encouraging. Angelica is been especially helpful and the running sneakers she recommends tailored to my specific needs are always 10/10! Thank you Angelica for helping me on my running journey you're the best!”
“Catherine was very helpful and patient with me as I tried on different insoles for my trail runners- would definitely come back for more of my running shoe and apparel needs! It can get busy so try to come on a weekday afternoon.”
“I am very pleased! Carlos is very knowledgeable and assisted me with obtaining a new head tennis racquet! He explained the differences in the weight and string material. The staff string the racquets right there in the store! I also purchased a head bag, Mizuno sneakers, tennis skirt and top and tennis balls. The woman at the counter (I didn't catch her name) was very sweet as well. Both Carlos and the owner took the extra step to suggest ways I could find a tennis partner as I currently have no one to hit with. I'm ready to set foot on the courts! I'll definitely be returning and you should definitely check out this spot for your tennis gear.”
“Amazing place! If you need shoes that are comfortable from people who really understand what you need, give them a try! As someone with super flat and painful feet, this is the first pair of sneakers that are actually comfortable! The staff was super nice and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend!”
“This is hands down the most awesome little skateboard shop I've been to so far!
Everything feels truly hand selected, the staff is super friendly & knowledgeable, and on top, I ended up walking away with what turned out to be my favorite board ever. What a gem!”
“Service was great got a great pair of dream shoes quality is all pristine owners are amazing would always come back if im in New York and in need for a new pair of trainers!!”

“I had a great experience with Scuba Network! When I got a last minute invitation to join an old friend on a scuba diving trip, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. Unfortunately, I hadn't been diving in 30 years! I called the folks at Scuba Network and everyone I engaged with was extremely accommodating. They helped me sign up for an eLearning refresher course and encouraged me to grab the last spot in an upcoming beginner's, in-person, 2-day pool dive to reacquaint myself with the gear and familiarize myself with some new technology since I last dove (goodbye dive tables, hello dive computers!). They equipped me with all the regular gear and even helped me pick out a scuba mask with reading bifocals when I told them after the first day that I couldn't read my gauges. (Yes, bifocal masks are a thing!)
Ryan Hoffman, my dive instructor, was fantastic. He was patient, easy-to-understand, thorough, and kept things moving well. He also didn't miss a thing. If someone seemed nervous during an underwater exercise, he was right there to put them at ease and help them master it. If someone didn't clear their mask of water fully, he had them try again until they crushed it. At every step he was enabling us to know how to do for ourselves because in Scuba, though it's a buddy sport, you don't want to leave the details to anyone else -- you're safest when you are self-sufficient.
Within days, I felt as confident about scuba diving as I did 30 years ago when I got certified -- no, actually, I felt more confident! I can't wait to get back in the open water now, and I'm even considering getting my kids to take up this past time so we can go as a family. If so, I'll take them to Scuba Network to learn!”
“I received my package of goodies and it was like Christmas in July!!!! Such a thoughtful touch with each item wrapped, a thoughtful note on a postcard and sticker! I can’t wait to visit your store next time I’m in NYC. It’s the little touches that make shopping with you so special! Thank you. And I LOVE my new tote! It’s too nice to use at the barn…”
“I went into the store today looking for my first ever pair of running shoes. I was quickly greeted and James offered to help me find the right shoe. He scanned my feet to get a better idea of what my foot needs in terms of an adequate pair of trainers. He gave me over 5 different options to try out and was so patient with me while I tried several on. He was able to explain how they differ and what would ultimately be most beneficial for my specific training. James was very knowledgeable and kind along with the other sales reps. Great customer service and very welcoming ambiance.”

“I was really surprised to find out that Puma offers embroidery services now! I decided to try it out and I'm so glad I did. The service was really good and exceeded my expectations.
Joan was incredibly sweet and patient with all of my requests. I had quite a few specific demands for how I wanted my Speedcat shoes customized, and he handled everything professionally. The embroidered name came out perfect, the quality and placement were exactly what I wanted.
This experience has honestly changed my opinion of Puma as a brand. The personal touch and excellent customer service really impressed me. I'm definitely planning to buy more Puma products in the future. Highly recommend giving their embroidery service a try if you want to personalize your gear!”
“Very friendly and professional people over at Soled Out, I was impressed with all aspects of my purchase from the fair price, to the ship time, to the packaging! They even threw in a free shoe cleaning kit in my order (don't automatically expect them to do this for you) I definitely recommend shopping with them you certainly won't be disappointed!
P.S.- Don't listen to any of the ridiculous 1 star reviews..those people certainly aren't the smartest and are either being petty or just straight up didn't read the listing description like they were supposed to or look at any of the pictures ? I'll never understand how people can do that then turn around and act like it's the seller's fault ?”
“Hands down this is a reputable and professional business. I needed an URGENT screen printing job done with a 2 business day turn around time and Anthony accepted my order!
I ended up not being able to complete the project with him since there was a shipping delay with an item on my end that needed the screen printing done. Anthony was understanding and canceled my order request.
BUT I hope to work with him in the future!! Thank you again!”
“Heather is a rockstar, everyone is so helpful and kind. Well stocked with any pointe shoe you can need! Will definitely be back. Thanks Desiree for the recommendation!!”
“RAJA ….she was SPECTACULAR!
I am never buying another bra without her. She was so knowledgeable and confident. In fact, I may never make another decision prior to consulting her.”
“Love this store! Spacious, well-stocked, and has friendly staff as well as fitting rooms. Has super trendy clothes with styles similar to Brandy Melville and Edikted, but a lot cheaper. The jeans buy 1 get 1 free is absolutely amazing, and so is the buy 1 get 1 free jewelry. Affordable, stylish, and genuinely one of my new favorite brands—underrated as hell.”
“One of the best experiences that I’ve always had in a store. All the crew were extremely professional and kindly. With a two floor store, a lot of options of models for men, women and also kids. They also offer the in store repair service. Really impressed with this visit.”
“SirLloyd was incredibly helpful and patient. I'm very new to running and he helped me with every question I had, no matter how silly it was. Thank you SirLloyd, you were wonderful and I will definitely be back.”
“Such an amazing running shop! Paul was so amazing - he did a full scan on my foot and explained all the different things that go into how each of my feet perform. I was planning to get two pairs of shoes and he recommended I get one pair I am used to but to also try a 'speed' shoe -- I have never run so fast since purchasing! I will be back and cannot thank Paul enough”
“Bok Lei Trading in Chinatown is the spot if you're into martial arts. Their selection of martial arts books is seriously impressive — everything from classic kung fu manuals and tai chi texts to rare philosophy and training guides you won’t find at your typical bookstore.
They also carry gear: traditional uniforms, sashes, weapons, and training tools that feel authentic and well-sourced. Whether you're a lifelong practitioner or just getting started, this place has soul — you can feel the history and passion in every corner.
It’s not a flashy shop, but that’s what makes it special. It’s got that old-school charm and real respect for the culture behind the practice. If you're into martial arts and find yourself in Chinatown, Bok Lei is a must-visit.”
“THE place for quality white dress shirts and reasonably prices. I just wish they would update the hours on Google maps to reflect reality as I waited almost an hour recently.”
“Burton NYC is THE premier shop for snow gear, winter wear, goggles, helmets, boards, and most importantly customer service. Their team of staff are friendly, knowledgeable and patient when you need anything done. Whether it’s to help with shopping for the proper snow pants, to fixing up your beloved snowboards they have it on lock. Today I had a bit of a hiccup and they tackled the problem, and rectified it in the shortest time I’ve ever experienced. If you want a reliable, friendly, neighborhood like shop here in NYC, this is the place to go. Their contacts for repairs or acquisitions can’t be beat either. 10/10 experience, wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
“The NHL shop is fun for window shopping, but I would hold back my expectations. While every team is represented, there are many other specialty stores that can offer the same merchandise for less. It's fine to check out for about 15 minutes for hockey fans who happen to be in Manhattan”
“Everytime I go to NYC I go here and get new hats, they have three best hat selection you will find and they have a downstairs that some dont know about. Just go down in the elevator and there's more to shop like memorabilia and clothes and yes more hats.”

“Went in yesterday to decide on a kanken backpack. The male staff member there was super chill, warm, and helpful. The whole place was well organized and full of vibrant colors. Love this store! ?”
“The minute we walked in Saira welcomed us from afar with a big smile on her face! She told us about the promotions of the day & took us directly to what we were looking for. Came back to check on us. She was attentive to everyone & busy keeping the store organized. Wow! Exceptional customer service! Fitting room staff was sweet & helpful as well!¹”
