“Great little hardware store for locals in the area. They have a vast assortment of items for homeowners for both inside and outside. The prices are a little higher than big box stores, but the convenience of being close vs. having to drive 20+ minutes east or south is great! If an item is out of stock and you don't need it immediately, it is usually replenished within a week. Rigo is a good guy to deal with!”
“Very cool, HUGE, antique & tool shop. Very well organized and so much stuff to look through. It's deceiving from the entrance, because the rooms just keep going and going, we couldn't believe the size of the place. Lots and lots (and lots) of cool items. My only peeve is that many things don't have prices on them so you have to bring them up to the counter, but I think that's a strategic move. Dan was super friendly and we spent a lot of time chatting with him, and we love that his doggie gets to sleep in the pineapple nearby. Will definitely visit again.”
“Called ahead of time for specific item, to make sure he had it. Also gave him the model number. Said he had it and would save it for me. When i got there, he had it upfront already. Paid the man and went on my way. When i got home, found out he gave me the wrong item. Had to drive back a 5 miles to exchange it for the correct item which they did. My mistake was trusting the salesman and not checking the item myself. Apparently he needs to educate himself on his products.so customers don't have to go back and return wrong items.
Wasted time and gas money.”
“Good to have a local hardware store so that we don’t have to schlep to Home Depot in Stroudsburg. Friendly customer service. We found everything we needed in a pinch for our paint project. The surcharge on using a debit card is annoying but like I said in a pinch this place works!”
“Just bought a new grill at ROCKY'S ACE HARDWARE in Washington, NJ. The experience was first rate all the way. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.”
“Andy at Harmony Hardware is awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly, and so helpful! Thank you, Andy, for helping us with a very frazzled and stressful UHaul rental. You’re the best!!”
“Just had a really nice experience at Rocky's. I had a few returns, a purchase, and was lucky to meet Meggie who was working the register. What a ray of sunshine in this cloudy, rainy day!!! Life can be stressful and rushed and we can all use a smile and uplift - thank you, Meggie and I hope I spelled your name right. Thanks, Rocky's for a positive shopping experience.”
“I had a problem with an item I purchased at the store. When I called about getted a different model I spoke to Jeff who told me he would speak to the manager and one of them would call me back. Jeff returned my call and told me I should bring the item back and he even told me about a replacement. I am very appreciative
of the fact that they took the item back. They made me feel like a very important customer and that they really appreciated my business. They are a top business in my book and they will always have my business. Thank you very much.”
“I had an issue and got a call from one of the owners. She was kind and understanding and quickly resolved my problem. This is a family owned business and by the immediate attention I was give, I will use this business in the future.”
“Ritter has friendly service with a smile. This old-time lumberyard takes me back to being a kid and going to the local yard with my, grandfather or uncle. They great you with a smile. If your are a repeat customer, you are also greeted by name. Experience is the key. Ritter lumber has seen it all. If I am fixing a more modern built home, they know the answers. Even when I have worked on properties built in the 1800's the knowledge and know-how is there to match styles as well as techniques used in building in that time period. Even if I have to spend a few extra dimes to get the job done, it is always worth the extra. How many 25 year olds working at the big discount places can even begin to explain what kind of wood and trim stylings were used in a Victorian? Ritter can!Sincerely,Eddie Biegaj”
