“Great little mom and pop shop. Great variety of tools and building materials. The screw/nut and bolt selection is amazing. I always use this place for small projects because who wants to drive all the way to Phillipsburg when you can support small business. They also even an extensive selection of rental tools and equipment. There is a U-haul option here as well if you need to rent a moving vehicle”

“Attended a Kids DIY workshop. My little guy made a chalkboard/vase. He got his own lowes apron with project patch. I guess there are incentives depending on how many patches you get.”

“When a place gets things wrong I have no problem (and to be honest I probably enjoy it) giving them a good solid rip and a bash. But when they get it right that also needs to be equally mentioned. We needed a wall AC unit but I was looking for particular brand/type/BTU/SEER rating that the local Home Depot (shocker) didn't have and while Lowe's did the catch was that I had to drive 35 minutes to a different store than where I normally shop. Lowes.com showed that they should have had four left in the store. We got there and poked around to only find one and it looked like it had been dropped out of a window like Led Zeppelin did to TV's in the 70's (but somehow the unit was still on the floor for sale at full price with a ripped open box and a huuuge dent on the part that faces outside). I went up to Matthew and asked him if they had the other three the website showed. He checked his computer and said they did but he had to get a forklift to bring the pallet out from the back. Five minutes later he brings out the pallet and helps me schlep it on to my cart. Mission. Accomplished. While this doesn't sound like a big deal it is to me because this scenario likely would not have played out this way at the Lowe's in Bethlehem. At that store it would have been impossible to have found someone on the floor to ask let alone someone who was willing/able/capable to forklift the pallet out front. Maybe I just have zero faith in big box retail's ability to do much of anything correctly, I don't know. What I do know is that Matt came through for me in a big way and I definitely appreciate his help in making that trip very, very easy.”
