I went there to get keys made but wasn't coming back in the area for a week so I wa Ted confirmation if the keys didn't work was ok to come back a week later with them ? The answer was a resounding YES NOT A ISSUE !!! Well the keys were cut perfectly (5) in total . Great place and if in the area of Columbia University I suggest 100 % use them for your hardware needs !”

“I just want to share how fantastic it is to have a local hardware store like this. I parked in front, put in for my free fifteen minute parking, and went inside looking for a part to fix my toilet. In literally one minute and thirty seconds (I had the meter timer running), someon helped me find the right part after I picked up the wrong one, I paid (less than I would have if I went through Amazon), and was out the door, back in my car, and on my way home. 10/10 experience. Will come here over Home Depot / Lowes / Amazon as often as I can.”

The service that you get as soon as you walk in is absolutely unparalleled. These guys are knowledgable, professional, and the most personable crew I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The selection is fantastic, the prices are beyond reasonable, but what I love most of all is the attentiveness of each and every employee. “Andrew was most helpful with a problem I had with my 3 DeWalt batteries and chargers, none of which worked, and I didn't know why. He explained that the models had been discontinued, and went to show me an adapter to purchase for my old drill. But then, he disappeared in to the back and came out with an unusable (for him) charger and battery that worked with my drill. He was so kind to let me have them! This is what makes Hometown Hardware and all the employees there so special as opposed to the big box stores! Thank you Andrew!”
