“I’ve been living here for about a week now, and so far, everything has been exactly what I hoped for. There were a few things in the apartment that needed to be repaired, and the maintenance team came the very next day after I reported them and fixed everything perfectly.

The landscaping and overall surroundings are also very nice and well maintained. The only downside is that the pool is a little small, but compared to my previous apartment, this place is absolutely wonderful. I’m very happy with my decision to move here and would definitely recommend it!”

I must give a huge shout out to my Leasing Agent Yanice Mc Mullen who did an amazing job to ensure that all my questions and concerns was taken care of.

I admire her tenacity in ensuring that a challenge that occurred when moving in was resolved by the team. I noticed that the initial unit that I was to move into didn’t have a dishwasher unit. I immediately contacted her to express my disappointment because all model units viewed had one which I was also expecting. She was very apologetic and expressed that she didn’t know that there isn’t one in that unit. I was very pleased to see how the team worked with me and get me transferred to another unit that has a dishwasher in 24hrs. The appliances were fairly new, the apartment was very clean. The staff overall very polite and friendly.”

“I can't say enough wonderful things about The Victor. Having rented an apartment for two years for both of my daughters - one in medical school and one in law school, we found this complex to not only be clean, but extremely safe. The security and 24 hour maintenance, as well as concierge staff is just the icing on the cake. The staff is so kind and helpful. Every maintenance request was promptly addressed, even after regular business hours. Parking was always safe and secure, their apartment was absolutely amazing with views of the Ben Franklin Bridge and Delaware River (the windows in their corner apartment were stunning), and the fact that it had an in unit washer/dryer was so convenient. Everything was in beautiful condition when they moved in. Moving in and out was extremely easy. The building itself is very clean and well maintained. The common areas, roof top deck, and fitness amenities just put it over the top. The management staff that works there were so easy to work with. Henry Pinney in the leasing office was so helpful when we first leased the apartment and Danielle Yannarella, Assistant Property Member was by far the most attentive, helpful, understanding, accommodating, and genuinely kind person to work with. Her assistant in making sure my daughters' time at the Victor was the best it could be and also being not only available to assist with any requests or questions, but to also respond in a timely manner made everything so much easier. She was on top of everything and they are lucky to have her as an employee at the Victor. If you are looking for an apartment for your child who is in college or just looking to rent in an amazing apartment complex, the Victor Lofts is the place you want to be.”

“Very friendly and informative staff. Worked with the lady Marissa. I wanted to look around at different units and she was extremely helpful. She knew the property well and showed me all the perks. One of the biggest things was the fitness center. That's big for me. The fact that it's open 24/7 is a bonus. I wish all places were as friendly and helpful as here. “Relatively quiet place to live. Convenient to Rt 1, I95, grocery stores, schools, etc.

The office staff is friendly and accommodating. The Maintenance guys are also friendly and very polite. Only issue with Maintenance, is that they should wear name tags - you can go weeks, months before knowing what their name is....if ever.

If you need Maintenance, they come straight away, no long wait period. Various inspections are done several times a year (bug, which there are none; smoke detectors tested); and, they come to change HVAC filters several times a year.

Three issues -
(1) my appliance are old, my countertops are old, my carpet is old - nothing gets updated.
(2) Too many cars not enough parking spots. I've come home in the evening to find that I either had to park at the total opposite end of my street, or on a different street altogether - something needs to be done about parking situation. Tired of playing musical cars. I should be able to come home at any time during the week and/or weekends and know that there will be parking in front of my Unit where I can see my car and not stress about whether or not there will be convenient parking available when I get home.
(3) they do nothing for Sr Citizens - rent continues to go up, but Soc Sec checks do not!! They should cut Sr's a break and/or if you're here 10 yrs or more, show appreciation and maybe a small break as well. Nope - nothing!!

All-in-all, I do suppose it's a decent place to live.”

I had a water heater problem that no one was able to fix but Ray took time out of HIS vacation to come & fix the issue within minutes. He is a valuable asset to Melrose & I’m very grateful to have him!”

“I've lived at Colonial Point for nearly 8 years now, and it's been great! The staff and management here are very considerate, caring and helpful. The complex is nice and has always been clean, quiet and affordable.

I feel lucky to have found this place back in 2017, because even after all this time, the place still suits me, and I don't see that changing anytime soon, particularly if rent continues remaining low.

If you're looking for a new place to live, and have come across this complex in your travels, my advice is to go for this place! You won't regret it, and you'll probably end up with a few friends a long the way. I did, and it was never my intention.

“I have been a resident at The Battery for three years. The staff, more than anywhere I have ever lived, have been hospitable and caring to the extent that they feel like family. There is always a friendly face at the front desk to assist with anything you might need, and the maintenance staff is personable and efficient. I have never wanted for anything during my entire residence. Additionally, there are numerous events and amenities being provided constantly. It truly is a wonderful place to live at, and I couldn't recommend it any more.”

If there are any problems, there are very few, the maintenance team responds quickly to take care of the issue.

The complex grounds are beautiful and we are surrounded by a beautiful park, tennis courts, track, baseball and soccer fields.

“After living at Algon Flats since September 2020, we are moving due to work, family, and my wife’s business. I want to take a moment to thank the management team—especially Cindy—for taking such great care of the property and the residents.

I can honestly say the apartments and overall property are very well maintained. Anytime we submitted a request, it was handled quickly—usually within 24 hours. We never had any major issues during our time here.

There were a few vehicle-related incidents over the years, but that’s something that can happen anywhere and was not a reflection of the property itself.

In my experience over the past six years, the area has been very quiet with low crime. I never personally experienced or witnessed any major problems.

The building is older, but we never had issues with bugs, mice, or anything like that. As long as you keep your space clean, respect the property, and pay your rent on time, you should have no problems here.

Move-in was smooth, and even our move-out process—though happening a bit early—is going just as smoothly.

After six years, this place will definitely be missed. And Cindy—she truly is the best.”
