“My family and I stayed at ROOST East Market in Philadelphia for six weeks while my husband underwent medical treatment, and I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place.

We stayed in a beautiful two-bedroom, two-bath apartment with stunning floor-to-ceiling windows. The apartment was immaculate, spacious, comfortable, and truly felt like a home during an incredibly difficult time in our lives.

What made this experience exceptional, though, was the people. Every single person we encountered, from the reservation staff to the front desk team to housekeeping, was kind, compassionate, professional, and genuinely caring. Their level of customer service was beyond anything I’ve experienced before.

Having a fully functioning apartment with a kitchen was also invaluable during an extended stay. It allowed us to prepare meals and avoid the constant expense and stress of eating out every day like you typically would in a hotel.

Most importantly, the compassion shown to us while we were there dealing with serious medical issues meant more than I can adequately express. ROOST East Market gave us comfort, peace, and support during one of the hardest periods of our lives.

It is located central to just about everything in Center City Philly. An absolutely beautiful location.

“I lived at the National for 2 years (2023-2025). I really enjoyed my time there and it is true that the management and maintenance team are top notch. In particular, Amanda and Mike really care about the residents and are very attentive to any issues or concerns. That's really what sets this place apart. I did also enjoy the roof deck, the great bridge views, the location in Old City and easy access to the Delaware River Trail and nearby piers.”

“I've lived at the Preston for 3.5 years. There are great features of this building. The parking lot and garage, in-house gym, and location near 76 and Roosevelt Blvd are definite perks. They also add new amenities to the building, including a sauna this year. Julie, the leasing agent, is very accommodating, thoughtful, and kind. Kenrick, maintenance extraordinaire, is prompt, communicative, and kind. It's a pleasure to see both of them around the building!”

They have a state of the art fitness facility , great community room. The rooftop views are awesome. Looking forward to the summer when I can really enjoy it. “I lived in this community for about a year, and my experience was truly positive—honestly even better than I expected. From the very beginning, it was clear that the building is well-managed, organized, and that attention to detail really matters here.

The management team, staff, and security are all very professional and responsive, but at the same time genuinely friendly and respectful. They create a strong sense of comfort and security for residents. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently, which I really appreciated.

The cleanliness and upkeep of the common areas are consistently excellent. The building is always clean, well-maintained, and pleasant to be in. The residents are also respectful and considerate, which makes a big difference—throughout my stay, I never had any issues with noise or disturbances.

One of the highlights of living here is the monthly events and community gatherings. They create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and help build a real sense of community among residents.

Another great advantage is the location. Edgewater is close to some of the most enjoyable spots in Philadelphia, like the Schuylkill River Trail and the Art Museum, which really adds to the overall experience of living here.

“We have lived in many apartment complexes in the area, and have had the best experience here. The office staff is friendly and helpful. Our maintenance requests are always resolved within a day, usually even within a couple hours. The outdoor sites like the dumpsters, stairwells, and pools are all well maintained.”

“I have been a resident of 2116 Chestnut for nearly 10 years now and have (unfortunately ?) been through many changes of management in that timespan.

That being said, this new team is by far the most friendly, easygoing and caring team while maintaining their professionalism. I know whether I call the office or stop in with a question or concern, I won’t be thrown corporate jargon buzzwords, I’ll be given a solution straight away or at least a plan of action towards one.

They keep an open door policy and not only welcome but encourage feedback. They started here back around the new year and have made many (great) changes! Our package system through Fetch was a nightmare, they listened and converted a storage room into a package room with secure package lockers. A good portion of us also raised concerns about security so they went ahead and installed app controlled deadbolts to all our apartment doors and even converted all the building doors to this app. I sleep comfortably at night knowing the front is secured via this app but is also carefully monitored by the 24/7 front desk team. I could go on and on about them but the other great reviews regarding the concierge team really speak for themselves. They most recently gave our amenity spaces and front lobby a refresh, giving it a much more sleek feeling. The lobby is so beautiful!! I love coming home and seeing it!”

“After living here for a year now, issues come and go however, my over all rating from 1 to 10, is 9.0 like the convenience of the shopping Sprouts, Target, Chipotle, Chase bank, Wine and Spirits store, Starbucks and now the new Giant across the street, moreover, I like not just for these reasons my living space is perfect for me, with the all new appliances and washer and dryer in apartment and a very friendly staff from the care takers, cleaning folks, front desk folks and maintenance folks and the management staff, I also can walk to work if I wish. I love the social activities that are offered at times in the evenings. Especially when you arrive
home from a long day , to be greeted with food, drinks, water ice and mustard pretzels, tacos, salads, etc….There are often times in the mornings Management has set up danishes, fruit coffee, tea hot chocolate for your enjoyment in the mornings. This is a great start for your day.

The Front Desk Administration is awesome, our Engineer, Housekeeping and Management are always on top of keeping the building, hallways etc in tip top shape, the trash rooms , halls elevator are always clean and in order.

My only concern living there was the turnover on the management end during my time there, which lead to some inconveniences on renewal of my lease etc. Do know that rental spaces there for gatherings are very expensive and move out charges are a little heavier than expected.

Overall I would recommend anyone to live here. If I ever had to move back to Philadelphia this would be a great place to return. Cheers!”
