“Fresh, high quality, inexpensive ethnic produce. I wish they had more south Asian ingredients, but overall there seems to be a great selection of Caribbean, African, and east Asian ingredients. Common grocery store items (milk, eggs, butter) seem to be cheaper in ShopRite but tropical sun has way better produce.”
“Local Bodega. Hot prepared foods. Fresh produce, milk eggs bread when you don't want to take your car to Shop Rite you can walk here. Friendly people. My new go-to for a neighborhood convenience.”

“I've actually lived in the neighborhood 5 years and yesterday was my first time...What I do know I bought 3 turkey provolone let tom oil vin mayo on a long roll & I swear the Deli Guy made those in less than 5 min...I also bought fresh sweet ready cut watermelon & a sandwich size bag of fresh cherries 2 lrg. “Up date its ok but a new one will soon be built i no longer go here for cakes because they dont have better cream which is so light and creamy not to sweet I go to livingston shoprite for my cakes now people are a bit unprofessional witnessed cashiers speaking in cuss words about fighting over a man while i was checking out they were y talking right over me the registers were next to each other I normally go to self checkout no respect for customers I don't buy my daily items from here I prefer Newark or Morristown but I have gotten some amazing cakes in past years”

“I ordered an Italian cheese steak and it was too seasoned and salty that I couldn’t finish it after a few bites. However, the meat portion and size of the sandwich I would go back but ask them not to put the seasoning. I don’t think it is terrible I just had that one experience and it was nice and clean inside. Which is why I gave it 4 stars.”
