91 Elizabeth Ave, ElizabethI visited this Italian restaurant with my family on Thanksgiving to celebrate and give thanks for being together, and it honestly ended up being one of the best decisions we made. The moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and the staff made us feel comfortable right away. The food was incredible. Every dish had amazing flavor, everything was cooked perfectly, and you can tell they really care about what they serve. The drinks were also a perfect match for our meal, and the recommendations were exactly what we were looking for. What really stood out was the service. It's probably the most attentive service I've received anywhere. Every request I made was listened to, and they made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. They truly made the experience feel special. Celebrating Thanksgiving here turned into a memorable moment for all of us, and I'm genuinely grateful for how everything turned out. I would definitely come back.

Alkazar Bakery
110 E Jersey St, ElizabethWe were staying at an airport hotel nearby and happened across Alkazar Bakery. I don't want to be dramatic, but I will be thinking about these pastries for the rest of my life. Living on the west coast, I had never had anything like it. We tried 2 empanadas, beef and ham and cheese and also a bizcocho rolled in sugar which was fresh out of the oven. The empanadas were seasoned perfectly and the crust was flaky and tender. The bizcocho pulled apart into flaky, warm layers. The exterior had a beautiful crunch to it and it was really perfection. I paired it with a cappuccino which was delicious with a sprinkle of cinnamon. The staff was so sweet and gracious, taking the time to explain the pastries to me in the midst of their busy morning.

Chava's Empanadas
636 Elizabeth Ave Unit #11, ElizabethWonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Christian and staff were incredible from the very moment they arrived. I hired Chava's for a corporate event for 150+ people and boy did they deliver. They arrived early to set up, respected the parking spaces and cleaned up as if nobody was ever there. That was just the start, the literal meat and potatoes were incredible! There's something special about having Colombian empanadas made by someone who understands that not everyone can eat the same thing. Chava's provided gluten free, vegan AND vegetarian options, which made all of the employees extremely happy. It's rare to find a food truck that can cater to that many dietary restrictions and Chava's made it work. Employees were in love with the empanadas and the choices offered, so much so that some people even snuck back in line for 2nds (and 3rds). Great experience, and I would recommend Chava's to anyone that is interested, you will NOT be disappointed! Viva Medellin!

I only go to eat pizza at this place. I like it. But today was very good. Excellent. It is not always like this. But I really like it. It is the best pizza I can find in NY/NJ I RECOMMEND. 335 Washington Ave, ElizabethDecided to try their $1.50 Taco Tuesday Special. We decided on Pollo, Caritas, and Asada. A whopping 9 bucks. Service was great, the location has good parking, and it has a covered area to eat. The carnitas was my favorite, however, the asada and Pollo satisfied my craving. I will go back and try some of the other menu items. This was a great find.
