They were attentive, welcoming, personable, and made sure we had an amazing time from start to finish.

It’s rare to come across hospitality that genuinely stands out, but both of them went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. They are a huge reason we’re already looking forward to coming back.

“Cleanest atmosphere friendly staff, amazing breakfast. Everything was perfect! So accommodating to me with my son being in the hospital and me, not knowing when he was going to be a discharged they always made sure to have a room for me in case. A really amazing breakfast strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, real eggs, and bacon! I felt super safe in the area that we were in being it was Myself in six month old son staying in the hotel. You can tell the staff is treated well by how pleasant and happy they all are.”

“We’ve been photographing weddings at The Madison Hotel for more than 10 years, and it remains one of our favorite New Jersey venues to work in. The Conservatory, the ballroom, and the grounds all offer beautiful light and a ton of great spots for portraits. The staff is always welcoming and organized, and couples consistently tell us how smooth their day feels there. Every time we’re back, it feels familiar in the best way. If you’re planning a wedding at The Madison Hotel, we already know the layout, the timing, and the best places for photos, and we absolutely love working at this venue.”

“The room and hotel was very nice and reasonably priced. Our only issue was we didn't receive the hotel access info until 1:49 am the following day. We had to make a few calls to gain access. This was at or around 10:00 pm. The young lady from the hotel said I should have received an e-mail from the hotel, but I hadn't.”

“Can’t say enough good things about The Hub! We had an almost disastrous reservation issue due to booking through Super.com. (NEVER AGAIN) Thankfully, Carlos at the front desk was incredible by helping me reach out to the third party and getting the correction made. He is a very kind, helpful and sweet man. What an asset to the business. He deserves a 100 out of 10!

“As a bride - this hotel was PERFECTION!!!
We got ready in the beautiful Rose Room. It was so convenient to have everyone at the hotel and the most stunning suite to get ready again! We had breakfast and lunch delivered to the room and the food was delicious.
We worked with Maria and her staff per our hotel block/every question along the way, including shuttles and the schedule for the day! The day was absolutely flawless. They took all the pressure and nuances off our plate!!
Our guests enjoyed staying in the hotel and having breakfast included for the brunch the next day as we said goodbye
All in all, it was absolutely perfect to have this as our Wedding hotel block and getting ready area! Would recommend to every bride out there!”

“This place was fantastic! It is getting a little dated and could use some renovations but room was comfortable and clean and the staff was wonderful. I mean wonderful! I come fairly regularly, and every single time I'm taking care of like family. They really go out of their way to make you comfortable , and your stay just as perfect as it can be. I had recently been exposed long-term to black mold and was very, very sick, and I had to come up to New Jersey and without them even knowing about this problem, they put me on the floor that they just had all the rooms redone, that have air purifying units in them. I can't tell you how much better I felt within a couple days. They put me there just to treat me extra special but it turned out to really be something special because of how sick I was. You just can't find the kind of customer service that I get here on a regular basis. It just doesn't seem to happen as much as it used to, as far as service goes. I come regularly because of my grandson, who has been coming here since he was born and is now 2 years old. They treat him like royalty - honestly. And I think he feels like this is his Grammy's home! Jose, the manager Is a true captain of the ship - setting a great example for his staff on how they should handle guests. Rayshawn is a fantastic assistant - always takes great care of us also. Anthony, the breakfast person is one of my grandson's favorites! ( Probably because he's feeding us!) Hermione, on the front desk is just so welcoming and kind - always helping me with anything I need. Housekeeping is exactly the same way with the service and always going out of their way to talk and play with the little guy! I know this is a long review and I don't usually write a lot of reviews. But I do for this place because they always go above and beyond. Being so far from home and everything so different in this cold country and I come from Florida - it's nice to be somewhere familiar with familiar people. But quite honestly , even the familiarity isn't enough For me to rave , it really is the people!”

“We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. A special thank you to Hermione at the reception, who was incredibly kind and always available to assist us with anything we needed. Eric was also extremely helpful, especially in arranging and driving the hotel shuttle to our nearby office always punctual and supportive.

“Stayed here from 9th Jan to 11th Jan, the hotel was good I’d give it 4 stars to be honest I just expected it to be more luxurious because it’s Hyatt and to the lady and gentleman who were working on the reception at around 9pm on the 9th of Jan I’d give you guys 10 stars not 5, you were more than kind and welcoming and you made my night after a tiring trip to New Jersey, really sorry I didn’t get to know your names but you probably know me from the jacket we made jokes about ?❤️”

The TV was not directly in front of the bed headboard in my room. Else, great room!

Food and drinks: No food and drinks and no room service.
The bar and restaurant opens on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights these days.
It is best suited for extended stays.”

“I have travelled to exactly 50 countries and hundreds of cities around the world and I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel! I have stayed in more than a few. The price, amenities, and staff were all excellent!

What an excellent stay at this hotel! The wonderful and welcoming front desk staff, the friendly house keepers, the attentive breakfast attendants, and the highly skilled and fast to fix maintenance workers. Everyone made for a very enjoyable and stress free experience!

The bed was super comfy, room were very clean with a nice design/layout and a fully stocked kitchenette. They have even more appliances like a slow cooker and blender if you ask the front desk! Plus a BBQ area and a pool too!

The included breakfast was also great too! A buffet with hot and cold options. I have stayed in countless hotels and this one was definitely well above the majority. Other reviewers seem to be so picky! It was great. Stuff yourself, feel good, chat with the friendly staff and start your day. It's what breakfast is all about!
Location is great too. Right beside a big mall with every store and restaurant you could need during your stay. It's also an easy drive straight along a highway from Newark airport.

Highly recommend a stay here for short or long term!”

“Likes: Room had a full-sized refrigerator with a freezer section. Excellent location, close to supermarkets and restaurants, 5 minutes from downtown Morristown. Close to I-287 and I-80, ~35 minutes to EWR. Decent price. Good Wi-Fi (not always a given).

Dislikes: Building and room showed some age. Not all lights in the parking lot were working. Front desk was vacant more than once.”

From the moment we arrived at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted us and immediately made us feel at home.

The hotel’s location is ideal, just off Route 46 with easy access to I-80 and convenient to both Newark and New York City. Whether traveling for business or leisure, its proximity to major transit routes makes it a great base for exploring the area.

Our room was immaculately clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding, large HDTV, and reliable free Wi-Fi. The thoughtful layout provided a comfortable workspace and plenty of room to relax. Housekeeping maintained the room to an exceptional standard throughout our stay.

We enjoyed taking advantage of the hotel’s amenities — the indoor pool and well-equipped fitness center were terrific, and the on-site restaurant and bar offered delicious meals and attentive service. Everything was delivered with professionalism and genuine hospitality.

Perhaps most notable was the high level of service from every team member we encountered. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and questions or requests were handled promptly and courteously.

“Had the pleasure of visiting their banquet halls. Didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and elegant they are. Seems like a perfect location for an event like a wedding, with out-of-town guests, as the hotel and venue are just steps away. Also, great if you have elderly guest to include as much of it is just on one floor with minimal steps.”

From the front check-in, to the Starbucks barista, to the restaurant bartender, everyone makes you feel at home. The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean. “Overall this is a very nice hotel at a great price. Front desk very pleasant and helpful. No issue with renovations or noise at all. They are still doing some work but it appears to be mostly completed. Room was good size and had fridge and microwave. Breakfast appears basic, I only had yogurt and juice machine was not working, but other guests were eating breakfast so I truly cannot comment on how it was. Overall I would recommend this hotel.”

“This Hyatt house thing is the best is comfy and is very affordable. Also the free breakfast is soooo good like their eggs and bacon and pancakes are so good I tried everything and in my opinion is so delicious. So if you want to stay somewhere that is comfy and very affordable go with Hyatt house they give you everything you need and the cleaning is amazing.”

​The Service & Staff
Outstanding hospitality from top to bottom. The front desk team is attentive, polite, and makes checking in and out completely seamless. A massive shoutout goes directly to the housekeeping team. The room wasn’t just surface-cleaned—it was thoroughly immaculate. The modern wood-style floors were spotless, the linens were fresh, the vanity and mirror were streak-free, and everything was restocked. The maids work exceptionally hard, and it shows in every detail.
​Prime Location & Convenience
The location right on Route 46 is as convenient as it gets. You are close to everything you need—liquor stores, quick food options like McDonald's, and major route access that makes hopping into NYC a quick, easy trip. A huge bonus is having a fantastic steakhouse right on-site with incredible food, so you don't even have to drive anywhere for a top-tier dinner.
​Morning Breakfast
The included breakfast is a major plus and far better than standard motel fare. The dining area is kept spotless and restocked every morning. They offer a hot-and-fresh setup, including turkey sausage, perfectly done hard-boiled eggs, a self-serve waffle station, and cold, fresh orange juice. It’s convenient, ready early, and completely hassle-free.
​The Room, Upgrades & Appliances
The layout provides plenty of space to unpack and settle in. Unlike other big chain hotels where furniture is worn out and falling apart, everything here is solid, clean, and well-maintained. You get an actual refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment—not just a cheap cooler box—along with a clean microwave and an in-room coffee maker. The king-size bed is massive and comfortable, paired with a dedicated desk and bright lighting. The bathroom highlight is the oversized, jetted soaking tub with chevron tile—an unexpected luxury that makes winding down after a long day fantastic.
​Balcony & Backyard Wildlife
Stepping out onto the private balcony gives you a quiet, wide-open view of the back lawn bordering the woods. It is remarkably peaceful, and you get some great natural entertainment watching the wildlife. There’s a regular groundhog running around the grass, along with Canada geese wandering through the yard.

“Came to town for a convention. Accidentally booked my room for the wrong days. Staff was very helpful in correcting the mistake. Check in: smooth. Room: spotless. Parking: plentiful. Checkout: quick and easy.
The gym is very minimal, but in a practical sense. Free weights, treadmills, ellipticals. Everything you need to get a good workout in. Cant rate the breakfast because I slept in and missed it ?‍♂️
