“The two gentlemen; one that works the night shift until closing time inside the Mart is a kind hearted, open minded and knowledgeable gentleman!! He made my evening, we randomly started talking about how my family just moved down to the area permanently, and he took time to explain where a local wildlife refuge is located, the prices, even showed me pictures on his phone. The other I always seem to get when I get gas! And he said he only works 2 days a week!! He is always so nice and courteous…This is our gas and mart choice from now on!!! I would give more stars if I could!!”
“The pharmacist (and all of his team) working at CVS in Smithville at closing on Sunday, June, 22, 2025, went above and beyond the call to help me with a prescription problem. I had already been to another CVS that was out of my prescription and they referred me to Smithville. Urgent care had recommended a prescription that was >$600!! The Smithville pharmacist pointed that out and offered to talk to the prescriber, even though it was 15 minutes before closing and they were busy helping several other people with problematic prescriptions. I called the prescriber and they spoke to the pharmacist and came up with another cheaper solution for the same medicine (!!). Unfortunately, the prescriber didn't send the update in time, so I had to come back the next day to pick up the prescription, but the CVS pharmacist waited until the very last minute for it to come through so he could help me. They were all amazing! This really went above and beyond! (And did I mention they were also helping a man on vacation with his prescription and another man whose prescription had been messed up at another pharmacy. These guys are super heroes!)”
“A small store but generally great staff. Good location for Pizza or a beer, being right next door to the Tavern and Giovannis Pizza. A great selection of smoke products to choose from. I recommend giving this place a chance although the area seems to have some sketchy figures most of them just appear that way and turn out to be the kindest people to meet. Consider having a drink while you stop by.”
“I had placed an order for a photo and was notified that it was ready for pickup. When I came in, the employee informed me that they didn’t have any new orders and they didn’t have my photo. Not her fault, sometimes things happen. Maybe fifteen minutes after I leave I get a phone call from that same employee letting me know she found the photo and reprinted it for me. I greatly appreciated that she went looking for it, reprinted it, then called me. She didn’t have to go out of her way like that and it was greatly appreciated!”

“Rich and Tracy have helped me carry things. Rich offers tiny bites of new food. After you taste it, you are more readily to order it. You can call and they answer phone. They have a cashier named Robby and he is excellent. Rich, Robby and Tracey make you want to go in. They are pleasant, do a great job w yr food, can answer any questions. When I couldn’t cook because I was sick, they were EXTRA caring and helpful.
Parking: It’s great and easy.”
