“FREE PARKING!...YES!Don't let this little independent hotel fool you. From the outside it might look like a small no name hotel, but once you get inside you realize what a nice hotel this is. It is extremely nice clean and the staff is very accommodating. Check in and check out or lightning fast. Got a little fridge, microwave safe the furniture is nice and newer and the sheets are clean and comfortable. This place is literally at the entrance to the Holland Tunnel and the train to go into new york. But most importantly it's free parking! Literally the only hotel in 100 miles that has free parkingI travel all over for work and stay at several hotels per month. This one just made my favorite list.”
“Beautiful apartments in a very good location. 10 minutes walk to WTC, 3 minutes to Rector St. Kitchen fully equipped, bathroom clean. Sofa bed was sagging. Enough storage space for clothes and suitcases. The special APP is used, among other things, for check-in and check-out. In case of earlier arrival or later departure, the stay can be adjusted slightly.Rooms: Very spacious for NYC. Very well equipped - nothing was missing. As already mentioned, when there are four guests, a sofa bed is used as a bed. It was worn out in our apartment and actually unusable.Nearby activities: WTC, 9/11 Memorial, Ferry to Liberty Statue, Wall St, Ferry to Staten Island, HeliPort Manhattan,…..Safety: No problems!!!Walkability: 10 minutes to WTC, Battery Park, Wall St etc. Starbucks, restaurants, shops nearby. To the subway: 3 minutes”

“Chris at the front desk was fantastic! He texted me before our arrival. He was at the front desk when we arrived. He told us about restaurants in the area gave us a list of them and told us about all of the amenities. He was just a breath of fresh air! Just so friendly and personable.. the kind of person that all companies should want at the face of their businesses.Rooms: Very modern and spacious.Nearby activities: Art shopsWalkability: You can walk to the art shops, the mall, lots of restaurants and farmers market. Just a really cool area!Food & drinks: Restaurant and bar on site - great food and lounge area. Tried the Moscow margarita during happy hour .. it was great!Noteworthy details: Very artsy hotel, cool guitars on the walls. Has parking and valet parking. Only 35-minute ride to NYC Manhattan.”

“I chose this hotel because it was on the cheaper side. So i.agine mu surprise when I get there to find one of the nucest places I've stayed. It smelled so clean and really was clean. The pool and fitness areas were kept clean and all of the staff were friendly. This place is great and if we ever go back I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.
Rooms: I got a larger room bc there was 2 adults and 2 teenagers .. it was super roomie and nestled in a quiet corner. It was really clean and the beds were beyond comforta!
Safety: We were able to park and not worry for an entire week. The only ppl that can get into the parking garage are ppl staying and employees. I loved not having to worry about my vehicle.
Walkability: It was right around the corner from a free shuttle to the port authority downtown NYC. Super convenient.
Food & drinks: They have a decent selection of drinks and snacks you can purchase. Along with a bunch of essentials you may forget when packing for a trip.
Noteworthy details: They were super nice and very helpful. Our first night the airconditioning broke..we had to move rooms but they had it up and running first thing the following morning and we're very apologetic. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had about the area, things to do and the best way to do them.”

“Our stay was made AMAZING by Nicole H. in particular! After a long and extremely humid car ride from Toronto to Jersey City (10 hours) we arrived exhausted and ready to relax. After telling Nicole about our tiring travel day, she offered us free breakfast during our stay. That, in addition to the cookies offered at check-in, made us feel so much better. She even provided free food and drink vouchers for my parents’ anniversary. Thank you, Nicole!”

“The staff, everyone...top notch! The front desk, doorman, luggage coordinators....yes please.Even the adjacent Starbucks...I entered the place and she said, "hello freind". That might not mean much to you but in nasty rude world, kindness still touches the heart if many!I will be making this 9/11 area visit an annual one and this Marriott is my choice. Thank you again!”

“Excellent location in the southern part of Manhattan, much quieter at night than other areas such as Times Square, Soho or Chinatown. In a 5-minute walk you will be at the One World Trade Center and in 15 in the Statue of Liberty ferry area. Our room was large although the bathroom was quite small, and the bed was very comfortable. Quite friendly staff. The worst thing is, at key times the elevator takes a long time due to the influx of people it has.”
“I always have a good stay here. The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. The manager Jackie is wonderful! She is always smiling and friendly - what good hospitality is all about!!”
“Outstanding hotel near Teterboro airport. Everything was pristine and well manicured. Breakfast was great, rooms were awesome, and good white noise on account of all the traffic going into TEB and LGA, etc. Easiest 5 stars ever.”
“We spent the night here for our anniversary, my wife loves the city views so this was nice. Location is amazing, in the heart of everything from restaurants to bars/lounges. Staff was really friendly. Just be warned the parking is NOT included in your stay, which is an additional $35. I gave the room a 3 star rating and that’s due to the views! The room had was the deluxe city view w/king bed. The room had some updated finishes but other things were not so much. The drapes were stained and the wall paper was peeling off the wall as well as scratches and dents on the window sills. These are minor things that should be addressed to ensure a better stay. In my opinion these are things you see in run down cheap motels, not an expensive hotel like the Sheraton.”

“Listen, I've been to many lucky spots with my girlfriend. She absolutely loved it here as well as myself. Food was excellent and tasteful. Service was incredible, so maybe I just got lucky considering I was neutral at first about arriving. But thankfully, I was singlehandedly NOT disappointed one bit! We both had a blast and would love to come back! Keep up the good work. ?❤️”

“I received a text the day before check-in with the opportunity to upgrade our kitchen bedroom to a superior room with a view for a nominal fee. We took the upgrade. We got texts before our arrival from actual people (not a virtual assistant). We arrived and were able to check in early and one of the people who texted me was right there. Marsha-Ann and Dawn were at the front desk and made us feel so welcome and wonderful. Our room was beautiful. The view incredible and another text to make sure everything was great. It was. An added bonus in addition to the view was the purified water dispensers. We loved everything about the hotel but what made it even more special were Marsh-Ann and Dawn. They instantly made you feel like you were the most important guests. The rooms were clean and I have absolutely no complaints on this location. Yes, you are in the financial district so you are going to have a long walk or subway to get to Times Square but this area has its own charm. The picture below was our room view.Rooms: The room had a great king bed, a kitchenette and a living room area.Safety: Near the 911 site so security is heavy in this area.Walkability: We are walkers so we took a hike to Greenwich Village (about 45 minutes) but there are great bars and restaurants nearby.”
“Stayed for a quick overnight before flying out. Obviously location was perfect, the staff service was excellent, on site restaurant (opted for room service) was delicious. The ability to order through the Bonvoy app was lovely.Rooms: The suites are large and well appointed with the best views. The mini-fridge seemed a bit out of place, but overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the room.”

“Great hotel. I've been here a dozen times and it's always a great stay. Amazing NYC skyline view without all the noise on that side of the Hudson. And the NJPATH stop is very close, dropping you from OWTC to midtown in a jiffy. Halifax restaurant is very good. I just wish this hotel had coffee service in the lobby in the morning. That would make this hotel perfect.”

“Visiting from the western part of the US May 6th, alone with a child. Just after getting lost 3 times. It was so refreshing to have been met by a kind man who welcomed us with a smile and reassurance that everything would be ok. Eventhough check in was later in the afternoon he prepared a room and around 10am we were in a beautiful room, more than we expected. The bed was delightful and comfortable, the rain shower was soothing and calming, the in room chandelier light fixture topped it all. He was right we were safe, it was wonderful and we were treated respectfully. I will return to TRYP Wyndham Newark NJ, when visiting the eastern side of the US.Thank you Kind Sir!”

“Overall a really comfortable hotel to stay at. When we checked in we are greeted by Roxanne , who was very kind and helpful and helped us a ton when trying to tour NYC. Room very very comfortable, shower was nice. Only thing I didn’t really like was the frustrating valet parking with the grumpy guy in charge of it, reeking of cigarette smoke. Location wasn’t great as it was right next to a dark alley with people that looked like they were doing drug deals but that’s not the hotels fault.”

“First time in a Homewood suites that I really enjoyed the rooms.View was amazing of Manhattan, (my kids enjoyed the highway more), just annoyed it was cloudy.Pool is shared with Hampton so was a little crowded.Indoor parking is nice. The digital key works for the garage door but not to open the room with the elevators, so that's a little weird.”

“Great place to stopover. Our flight got cancelled and we got a last-minute booking. It pays to be a Hilton Honors member, as we were afforded a late check out since we got there so late! Clean room, good reasonably-priced made-to-order breakfast, and pleasant staff. Recommend!!”

“Nice clean hotel, friendly helpful staff, free shuttle bus to nearest bus stop, 45-minute-drive to Manhattan, NYC, by bus. 35-minute-drive by car or taxi (located about 12 miles from NYC).If you want to have a quite and peaceful stay when you visit NYC, I would recommend it. If you want the NY city life all the time, take a hotel in Manhattan.Rooms are clean and very spacey, big Full HD tv. All the things you need.Nice Christmas decorations (I like ?)when we were there in December.McDonalds next to the hotel, and KFC, Starbucks, Wallmart, Dunkin' Donuts, and a gas station in the vicinity of the hotel. Most of them located in along the same road. The hotel is also located very close to Teterboro Airport (within 1 mile), which is considered a general aviation reliever airport. As a reliever airport, it does not offer scheduled airline service though, nor does it permit operations of any heavy aircraft. Very interesting for business travelers though. And aviation enthousiasts aka avgeeks. ?Summary: very good hotel close to NYC in a quite and friendly neighborhood in the Garden State; New Jersey!”
“Excellent location. Yes, you can use this hotel as a base of operations to explore New York City. It is directly across the street from the PATH Train, and you can be in NYC in about 20 minutes. The parking situation is also good, and they charge a small fee which is a fraction of what you would pay in NYC. It is easy to get in and out of the garage. The service here is also excellent, the free breakfast is much better than the average motel, and there are 3 or 4 good restaurants adjacent. The quality of the room is also superior. Clean, comfortable, quiet, with a full kitchen, full sofa and sitting area, big screen TV, wifi and heat/ac worked perfectly. Nice bathroom with walk in shower. They also have good security and I did not notice any crime or chaos in the area. I commuted easily into NYC every day and overall had a great experience.Safety: Felt safe the entire time”
