“Just had our first visit and I am blown away!!! My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. Thank you to the entire RVCOC team!”

“This is your go to clinic. I called and they got me scheduled for an appointment in 45 minutes. They are kind, caring, and nurturing. Dr. Chan is very humble and gentle. My kitty doesn’t usually prefer men, but Duncan very much approved of him. Didn’t get the best news today, but the staff handled his results with care and made me feel like my baby was in good hands. Highly recommend!”
“My dog Monty got scratched by a cat during our morning walk and so I ran him to this vet (nearest one open). Despite there not being any available appointments, they were able to get a technician to see my dog immediately.
The front desk people and the technician were very kind and attentive. I sincerely appreciate the quick response and understanding.

“West Chelsea has been our clinic of choice for 15 years. While the doctors change thru the years, they are all committed to excellence. One noticeable difference is that most of their vets are women. I find that women have a greater degree of empathy that I hope for in my vet.”

I bought through them - but found out it wouldn’t arrive until a week later and no Vet is willing to fill a prescription from another vet. Was so glad that Wespaw was able to deliver same day! “No long waits for the appointment which is such a plus. It's also possible to get same day appointment if you call opening time (I'm not sure if it's guaranteed though or whether they have separate same day appointment slots).
Doctors and nurses are very patient with you and the pets. They explain everything thankfully.
They also mentioned that you can get prescriptions from chewy when you put their details and once they approve it. I haven't had the need to try this out yet”
“I absolutely love it here. I have brought my big boy Theodore here for a check up and my new little kitten Rosalie here for her first check up! I absolutely love this place the staff is very nice and Victoria is the absolutely the best. The new kitten WILL be getting spayed by her because I trust her so much. You can tell she truly loves and cares for my pets just as much as I do. I highly recommend and low key wish I could work here. ?

“I’ve known Ashley for a few years now. I have nothing but great things to say. She has always been so helpful and knowledgeable and compassionate. My 13 year old dog Bowser wasn’t doing so well and it was time to make that hard call. Ashley was there for me and guided me every step when it came down to giving my dog peace. “I love Park Slope Vet Center. They have cared for a few of my cats over the years. They are compassionate and supportive. Always giving good advice without judgement or trying to sell you services. When our last cat was at the end of her life they helped us understand our options and gave our sweet girl a peaceful end to her suffering when it was time. I’d recommend this vet to anyone. They also work with many TNR groups which is so needed in NYC.”

“My dog had an episode one night where he was dizzy and staring at walls. We took him to the Tribecca emergency room. They charged us over $3K and t9ld us he may have 4 hours left to live because he may be septic. We then went to EVG and they said he may have rectal cancer, the bill was $9700. We then waited 2 days and went to Battey Park Vet, they looked over the results and told us he just had Ecoli. That bill was $120. Had I gone here first I would have saved almost $14K. Dr. Berger and Dr. Lopresti are favorites. Kobe loves them. This vet is like having competent family members.”
