They now a self check out option.
Good time to shop is early as store is less crowded (regarding Friday mornings)

“This is a truly great supermarket. Stopped in recently and was impressed by the cleanliness, lighting, and efficiency. The aisles are wonderfully stocked and organized, and the staff are super helpful and nice. They have a great looking deli counter, as well as a bakery, sandwich, sushi, and coffee stations. The prices are reasonable in the face of an age of exorbitant grocery extortion. Can't forget about the shopping carts which are light and roll smoothly, and the self checkouts which are super easy to use.
Great store, and unlike many other busy supermarkets, wouldn't mind returning one day.

Additionally, although the prices on takeout are pretty good, the take-out items have zero ingredients listed on the packaging. Very frustrating. Very skimpy on information. Another basic example: No telling of what bracha the wraps are.”

This place is the real deal. No fancy bells, no artisanal hipster nonsense. Just solid, honest, heimish meat, amazing Sephardi dishes, and enough lachmashin in the freezer to keep a yeshiva dorm fed through a blizzard.
The prices? Gevaldigeh. I’m not saying it’s cheap, but let’s just say I left without needing to make a cheshbon hanefesh afterward. Very refreshing for Lakewood.

The staff is down-to-earth, not pushy, and not trying to sell you $89.99/lb “heritage free-range organic unicorn roast.” They know their customers: just give us good meat, good prices, and let us get home before the kids realize we snuck out.

The produce section is usually looking fresh and geshmak, and the prepared foods are a lifesaver when it’s Erev Shabbos vibes and you’re running on 3 hours of sleep and a coffee.
The staff is generally helpful, and the whole place runs like a well-oiled machine—even when it’s busy and everyone’s doing the Lakewood last-minute shuffle. Bottom line: if you need a solid kosher supermarket with good selection and that familiar heimishe feel, FoodeX is a strong yes.”
“I go to your store at least once a week to get milk and various cleaning stuff and paper goo goods. I go to Jackson usually, Never have had a problem. Today I went to get several things and needed a cart. There were none outside, or inside . I settled for a few things a put them in the small basket. I am 75 years old and mentioned it the the blonde lady who checked me out. I told her the were no carts out side and it was pouring rain and I could no go looking for one because I was afraid of falling.
