Quick stop for shopping with Brother who is unable to drive himself to the supermarket.
While he shops, I usually pickup a few things for today's lunch or dinner.”
“We went to this Walmart for school supplies. We found most of what we were looking for. However, they did not have a big variety of backpacks. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons, I really wish they had a price check machine. The other reason is their restrooms were disgusting and there were many flies inside the restrooms.”

“BJ’s Gas Station — aka the Lakewood Olympics of Patience and Precision Driving.
Let me tell you, filling up here is not “just getting gas.” It’s a whole experience. An outing. A journey. A test of middos. Honestly, if they gave out medals for surviving the line at peak hours, half of Lakewood would be walking around with gold.
🕒 Pro tip from a seasoned veteran:
Come either super early or super late. Anytime in between and you’re basically attending a voluntary farbrengen of minivans, SUVs, and that one guy who somehow always blocks two lanes while trying to angle his car “just right.”
But once you finally make it to the pump?
Ahhhh. Smooth sailing. Quick service. Clean pumps. The card reader actually works (which, if you know gas stations, is a miracle). Apple Pay, Google Pay — boom, easy. And the prices? Let’s just say this is the closest I’ll ever get to feeling like I “beat the system.”
The attendants are friendly, efficient, and somehow manage to stay calm even when twelve cars are honking, everyone’s confused about whose turn it is, and someone is trying to do a three-point-turn in a space designed for a scooter.
Honestly? I love this place. It’s chaotic, it’s crowded, it’s BJ’s… but it’s also the cheapest gas in town, and it works every time.

And if you don’t know… come at 7 AM. Trust me.”
“My shopping experience at the Howell BJ's Club is always very pleasant due to their wonderful staff and their eagerness to satisfy the customer. I visit this store weekly, especially to take advantage of their low gasoline prices and their fresh deli meats.”
“Extremely friendly staff! They are very timely to notify me of any issues such as medications not available due to ongoing shortages or certain medications not being covered by my insurer. They know me by voice anytime I call, and I highly recommend them!”
“This little store is a powerhouse for finding many Asian ingredients and cooked food to take home. The lady is very helpful and sweet. If you can't find something in supermarket that may apply to Asian cooking , give them a try if they have it. You not walking out of there with one thing. Hope this place stays forever or it becomes bigger. Wish Howell had a large Asian grocery store. Quality of produce and fish much better then supermarkets.”
“My son bought me a beautifully decorated birthday cake, it was chocolate on the outside with strawberries on top. It taste pretty good too. We will do another cake here in the future for sure! You guys must try this place....”
“I drove my friend to Walmart right after surgery to pick up his medications . Trupti G. ( RPh) Was very accommodating to fill his prescription quickly. And Jennifer ( Tech) helped to expedite the interaction. 🥇. My friend has used this Walmart Pharmacy for many years.”
“Kevin is so nice and professional, I was losing air in my tire and he was able to take me right in, find out an unfixable nail was in my tire, then get a new and put it on. The whole thing only took about an hour. I didn't know what I would do and he saved me. Kevin is my hero!”

Now at dollar general I have earned my keep created better bonds with my Co workers all of them. And we work hard regardless of our pay because we are once again all nearing retirement or just starting ? ????”

“This store is clean, very well lit. Organized in such a smart way so that when you walk through the aisles you can find everything you need and the price!!!!! The price is the best I was shocked how cheap it came out to be. I double checked that I didn't forget any items. It was so cheap! I loved everything about the store. Highly recommend it.”
