“It's a post office. It's gotten better over the years.(Though, not everyone who works there likes their job, so us customers sometimes have to put up with it.)”

“USPS had been here and faithful since it was delivered on horses. Forget UPS or FedEx the USPS can do everything they do and more. How ever anything in Seaside may or may not ever get to you and take a week to go 4 blocks. USPS outside of Seaside? Amazing. In Seaside bad.”

“The post office in Beachwood NJ is the most efficient office I've ever visited. The employees are friendly and the building is clean and everything I send out of that location arrives at its destination on time with no issues. I don't live in Beachwood but I drive to that location because it's the best post office I've used. Wish I could vote 100 stars instead of just 5!”

“I have been going here for about 2 years now when I discovered it was there. I mail out many large envelopes during tax season and I'm usually out in less that 5 minutes. The young lady who runs the office is just wonderful to deal with, very polite, courteous and accurate. Those with the negative reviews go stand in line for at least half and hour at the main Post Office in Brick and maybe then you'll be happy!”

“Angela the new post master went above and beyond when a package was received from a Boston post office. She called me right away to let me know it was my son's lost wallet. Then she had it sent directly to him. She has really cleaned up and organized the whole post office. Everything looks great. Gabby and Barbara are wonderful and so happy for Angela's leadership!”

“Was there at a good time, there was no line. I don't need to go to the Post Office more than occasionally, so don't know if that's the norm. The gentleman at the counter was quite nice.”

“Five stars. TJ was so courteous, helpful and nice. He helped process our passport applications and take pictures for our three kids. We were in and out in a breeze. Thank you.”

“This is a convenient and nice location to get your post office tasks completed. The folks I dealt with were polite & helpful. They have the supplies you need and even have nice seasonal packaging as well. I will definitely not avoid this post office when it comes time again to mail something that takes more than a simple stamp.”

“Great little post office! Within this parking lot, the Island Heights Police Station is on the premises. There is also a Kazibo. I love this little town of Island Heights. It's so beautiful to see the water as a backdrop for the post office. The staff is friendly and eager to assist. There usually isn't a long wait. I've only had to wait in a long line once since living here in the past 5 years. Otherwise, it's no more the 3 people and they are in and out quickly. Today there was a single person besides myself that approached the counter while I was there.”

“I’ve gone to this location a coupletimes and both times the staff was so helpful and friendly! This time vincent helped me with pacing up one of my packages. He took his time with me did not make me feel rushed and was very helpful. I really like this location!”

“I rate this PO at a 5 star for the simple reason that they are understaffed and still do a great job. Yes it's crowded sometimes but the counter people do take alot of abuse and sarcastic remarks from unpleasant customers who defenatly don't understand customer service and got nothing else to complain about. I'm a bulk shipper and drop off packages daily and weekly, sometimes I do need to wait in line but all the times I did, the counter person was always so nice and helpful. When I needed a supervisor they came out rather quick and did help me when I had some issues with tracking. Overall I want to tell everyone to just be patient and understand it's not the workers, it's the understaffed of the po. Remember, it's a small po with thousands of packages to be delivered, sorted etc...I have no issues and thank those who actually stay there Even through the tough times. I feel your pain as a customer so I Crack a joke with ya when I approach your desk! Keep up the good work...”

“It is a Post Office What do you expect? The Ritz Hotel?Clean. Sometimes there are 10 people on line with one clerk or two customers with one clerk. Never waited more than ten minutes.Luck of the draw. What bothers me is that front parking lot with twelve spaces that are almost always occupiedYou have to watch cars backing up and speeding cars coming from behind and drivers are not always careful. They need to redesign it as this is always ready to have car accidents.”

“It is a large and busy Post Office. It is located in downtown Toms River. The building is not Handicapped Accessible. They do have 4-5 Handicapped parking spots. The employees are friendly. I was just surprised that for such a busy Post Office they only had 2 people working the counter. There is a separate room inside, where you can apply for a Passport.”

“Neighborhood Post Office with good old fashioned customer service!! I remember a time when I was always sending stuff from my neighborhood Post Office in Gardena CA, the crazy post office parking lot soooo tiny, long lines, weighing packages even had a "post office box", lest we should forget tax season lines.....but for it all-- simply being treated like a customer that mattered. Fast forward to 2017-- Although some of that craziness has changed over the years, like my moving clear across the country to NJ, the exceptional service and dependability of the Postal service has not. My now neighborhood Post Office since 2013- provides the same awesome service, answers and help with a smile. Even in long Holidays lines, people deciding on what collectable stamps, how to use the automated stamp /label machine or picking up certified letters to what can ship and what cannot, I have always received top notch customer service. If you have not been to this Post Office you should. The Staff here is especially nice, I was just there yesterday afternoon I wanted to make sure that the box I was re-using to ship some stuff out was acceptable. The Post Lady behind the counter smiled asked how I was doing, how she could help, I explained my question, she checked all the markings, processed the mailing label, gave me my tracking receipt- DONE!!. and wished me a good day and in all of less then 10 minutes, I was on my way. Look, I know people now a days just don't use the Post Office like they used too, most don't use it for letters, they email, they don't mail bills, they pay bills online, or use one of the larger carrier service, but think about how much our Postal Service really moves our packages and letters from one place to another, but in all the years and changes -- they have not lost that personal touch. Anyway- get to know your local Postal office and postal carrier, they are great people and I have always been happy with the service here at the Howell location.”
