“I went to 3 different transmission shops before deciding on this shop! I'll start with this: the difference in price from this shop to the highest quote I got was $6,145. The difference in price to the second shop was $2,400! Needless to say, this shop is very affordable! Second, Mike (I believe is the owner) great communication, flexibility, explanation of everything and accommodating. Sean (I think this is how you spell it), the mechanic was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, gave his professional opinion and advised us on what to do as far as caring for the transmission going forward. I highly recommend this shop or at least go speak to them before making a final decision! 5 STARS! I'll be taking my mom's car there and my boss is also in line for taking his car there soon.”

After having been totally ignored for 3 days at a local dealer and sadly realizing our car needed a transmission, I read the great reviews about Craig at Aamco and believed good things must be happening there. We had our car towed there and were so happy we did. Once we contacted Craig at Aamco, our situation changed dramatically. Craig was extremely responsive, did an immediate diagnostic test and clearly explained what needed to be done. His price was very fair. “They are the best around. My parents have known Billy & Bobby since high school and they are always very straightforward and quick. They let us drop our car(s) off with a bit of a warning whenever we have a problem just to take a quick look at it. Price is always super fair, way cheaper than the surrounding mechanics in town. A couple years back we had gone to a different mechanic in town and everytime our car left that shop there was “a new problem” and we’d have it back in the shop a couple days later. “I had been searching for a specific truck for about a month and Genesis had one. I had previously tried to work with several other big name dealers and was treated very poorly and they tried to scam me in many ways. Not Genesis, they treated me well start to finish. I felt so comfortable with what they were telling and showing me that I took a 7 hour train ride to their shop to buy the truck. I looked over the truck, we took a test drive, No BS, no pressure, no hidden things, just how buying a car used to be and should be.

“I took my jeep to a mechanic shop to get some work done. When I got it back it suddenly had transmission problems.. the gears weren't changing properly and there was a loud noise every time I changed gears. The people who did the repairs said I need a new transmission which would cost an arm and a leg! I took the Jeep to Mr Vito, I explained that we had NO transmission problem before taking it to the mechanic, he drove it with me and right off the bat said that it seems like it's stuck in a high gear and it could be something interfering with the signal going to the transmission, likely an electrical issue. He ran his diagnostics, got the code to direct him to the problem which was one of the solenoids.. turned out a wire was loose. He repaired it, put in some new transmission fluid and filter (was due to change) and the jeep is back to working like before! This man saved me thousands of dollars and not having to get a new transmission!”
