“New location - store part is small, but service is as good as ever. I used to go to Jersey Gardens, but ever since I found this store I always come here. Service and stock is significantly better. Parking is a bit weird, but once you get past that, it's perfectly good. Also ifkyk. Tiny stores attached to warehouses are always the best stores. Literally all of the stock is there.”

“This shop has all your paintball, and airsoft needs. If you don't see it ask and they'll most likely get it from the back. They work on markers here too! Fixed my Pink Lady. Also traded merchandise for store credit. A very very fair trade.

“I am very pleased! Carlos is very knowledgeable and assisted me with obtaining a new head tennis racquet! He explained the differences in the weight and string material. The staff string the racquets right there in the store! I also purchased a head bag, Mizuno sneakers, tennis skirt and top and tennis balls. The woman at the counter (I didn't catch her name) was very sweet as well. Both Carlos and the owner took the extra step to suggest ways I could find a tennis partner as I currently have no one to hit with. I'm ready to set foot on the courts! “I had a great experience with Scuba Network! When I got a last minute invitation to join an old friend on a scuba diving trip, I didn't want to pass up the opportunity. Unfortunately, I hadn't been diving in 30 years! I called the folks at Scuba Network and everyone I engaged with was extremely accommodating. They helped me sign up for an eLearning refresher course and encouraged me to grab the last spot in an upcoming beginner's, in-person, 2-day pool dive to reacquaint myself with the gear and familiarize myself with some new technology since I last dove (goodbye dive tables, hello dive computers!). They equipped me with all the regular gear and even helped me pick out a scuba mask with reading bifocals when I told them after the first day that I couldn't read my gauges. (Yes, bifocal masks are a thing!)
Ryan Hoffman, my dive instructor, was fantastic. He was patient, easy-to-understand, thorough, and kept things moving well. He also didn't miss a thing. If someone seemed nervous during an underwater exercise, he was right there to put them at ease and help them master it. If someone didn't clear their mask of water fully, he had them try again until they crushed it. At every step he was enabling us to know how to do for ourselves because in Scuba, though it's a buddy sport, you don't want to leave the details to anyone else -- you're safest when you are self-sufficient.
Within days, I felt as confident about scuba diving as I did 30 years ago when I got certified -- no, actually, I felt more confident! I can't wait to get back in the open water now, and I'm even considering getting my kids to take up this past time so we can go as a family. If so, I'll take them to Scuba Network to learn!”

“This was my first visit to this store and I was really impressed. They quickly had my feet scanned with their device which I wasn't even aware existed! The young guy who helped me pick the right pair then explained the scan results, listened to my preferences and then brought a few pairs for me to try out and offered suggestions only when asked, letting me decide things for myself instead. Throughout the process, I didn't feel rushed or pressured into buying.
The only reason I haven't given a 5 star rating is that they didn't have any promotions running for the shoes that I eventually ended up buying (it was the labour day weekend and hence my expectation for a discount).

“Just because I left Hackensack years ago, I still let people know how kind and knowledgeable they are. I used to work the counter years in the coffee shop next door. At that time I wasn't making a lot of money. I wore sneakers and wore them out pretty quickly. After I mentioned that my feet were hurting, the owners suggested a special brand that would last. After my shift was over I went next door. I was fitted perfectly! They were SO very comfortable. I had seen some prices so I guess I looked worried. I was given a price that I could afford. After leaving that coffee shop I finished school. I still work on my feet but, not for tips. I enjoyed that job! They both tipped nicely all of the time. I hope they remember the girl with the long blonde poney tail named Trish. You really should visit this store. I know some people that went not long ago. They thanked me for recommending this store. “Just terrific. A vestige of a bygone age. Incredibly, the store is located in the driveway of a residential house on a quiet, leafy street. (Almost certainly grandfathered in.) Anyway, it's an old-time tennis shop staffed by relatives of the man who founded the place in 1913. Good, high-end racquet selection; good accessories; even has some sneakers and clothes. Super-friendly staff is very accommodating and even generous with pricing and the occasional freebie. I feel good about patronizing this place. I mean, tennis warehouse is great, but do they really need your business?”

Joan was incredibly sweet and patient with all of my requests. I had quite a few specific demands for how I wanted my Speedcat shoes customized, and he handled everything professionally. The embroidered name came out perfect, the quality and placement were exactly what I wanted.
