And oh boy did South End Surf ‘N Paddle deliver for the witchy paddle this weekend.

I watched the owner all through out the witchy paddle and he helped people into the water and OUT (hello witches struggling to get out of the water in their wet costumes). He was knowledgeable, kind and easy to work with.

“One month ago, I bought a Pura Vida ring for my girlfriend when we were in Disney Springs. My girl girlfriend loves the ring so much I decided to surprise her by having it made out of white gold and real diamonds. I showed pictures of the ring to my jeweler, but he insisted he needed the real ring. He sent me a follow-up text stating he could not contact anyone at Ron-Jons in Disney Springs. So, I went to Ron-Jons in Ship Bottom, NJ:

“A big shout out of appreciation to Brendan in the Ship Bottom Store! If you want the epitomy of a customer service experience, Brendan is the best! Was trying to locate a decorative piece not available in the store. Brendan took the time, patience and know-how to reasearch the item, find it and have it shipped to my local B & B store. Business' need more employees like Brendan who genuinely make customers feel like they matter which, in turn, motivates customers to return to the store and seek out Brendan! We need more people like Brendan who know what really matters--the customer!”

“Great experience here renting wave runners on a week day morning! We arrived and they were about to take someone else out, so waited a few minutes to add my son and I to the group. The wave runners were well maintained, FAST and FUN! They guide you out past the no wake zone and you have a large rectangular area in which to have fun - between the channel for boats and the shore. That is nice, because you have a clear separation between you and boat traffic, which makes things very safe. We did the hour long rental and enjoyed every minute, from zooming around at top speed to zig-zagging and taking fast turns. All of the staff we interacted with were super nice. I look forward to returning again next summer!”

“We were in a few times last week and made purchases each time. Unfortunately we found 2 different clerks to be cold and a bit unkind in personality which was extra disappointing because we liked the store. The older clerk treated my wife and daughter like they were guilty until proven innocent, staring them down while they looked at jewelry, acting like they might steal something. This, of course, made us very uncomfortable. We still made our purchases there nonetheless.

Though the staff was a bit abrasive, we enjoyed the merchandise they carry. We bought a bunch of stuff. We also found their pricing to be very fair, which can not be said about all the local shops near there.

I see below that they are somewhat rude in replies to bad reviews. They ought to be more apologetic. I think they get annoyed with tourists, but they need to realize they have no business at all without the tourists, so there's room for improvement with their customer service. I think 4 stars is actually a bit generous.”

“Found what I was looking for. I do wish the sections were clearly marked to make it easier to find what is needed. There isn't signage for the women's, girl's, boy's or men's sections. So unless you shop there often it may take a little when to find the right department.Other than that I am always pleased with what I find.”
