Joe's Original Pizza
501 Tansboro Rd, BerlinI recently tried Joe’s Pizza and came away extremely impressed. The pizza was easily one of the best I’ve had in quite a while. The crust had that perfect crisp on the bottom that so many places struggle to achieve—lightly crunchy with a great texture, while still staying soft and chewy on the inside. The sauce had a nice balance of sweetness and tang, and the cheese was melted perfectly with just the right amount of browning. Every bite had a great combination of flavor, texture, and freshness. You can tell they pay attention to the details when making their pizza.
I also ordered a cheesesteak, which was very good and a little different from the typical version. It was served on focaccia bread, which added a unique flavor and texture. The bread was fresh, slightly crisp on the outside, and soft on the inside, holding up well to the filling without getting soggy. The steak was tender and well-seasoned, making for a satisfying sandwich from start to finish.
The wing dings were another highlight. They had a perfectly crispy coating and honestly tasted more like excellent fried chicken than traditional wings. The outside was golden brown and crunchy, while the meat inside stayed juicy and flavorful. They were seasoned well and cooked just right, making them hard to stop eating.
Overall, Joe’s Pizza delivered quality food in every category I tried. Between the outstanding pizza, the unique and delicious cheesesteak, and the crispy, flavorful wing dings, this was a meal that exceeded expectations. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend giving them a try if you’re looking for great pizza and comfort food done right
