“I purchased a used car from Open Road Mazda of East Brunswick in 2021. Because I knew I would have a car note, I took out an extended warranty.
The system was updated, so when I originally called back in June, my vehicle's info wasn't showing up. My car needed servicing for a part covered under the extended warranty.
I want to take the time to thank employee, Tarik Awadallah for going above and beyond in helping to resolve the issue and have the extended warranty company honor my extended warranty. I was so happy that I cried tears of joy.

When I first called to inquire about the repair, Alda was extremely nice, patient, and professional. She took her time answering 1000 questions from me and never once made me feel rushed lol. That really stood out, especially compared with some other body shops I called where I felt like they were rushing to get me off the phone.
When I went to this shop Alda, and Vinny were both very friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout the entire process.
Another big plus is that they are a GEICO certified repair facility. I didn’t have to deal with any headaches going back and forth with the insurance company. They handled the insurance side directly, which made the entire process much easier and less stressful.

“2nd job that Mr. Flow did on my 2008 Nissan Altima, the first being the replacement of trim on my car. I had to acknowledge the excellent work they did repairing both the upper and lower after market grills on my car. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and my car was returned looking better than when I brought it in. I have already informed them of my intrest in having another job done to my car in the very near future. The service was excellent from top to bottom. “Any time my car needs work done I get very anxious about the whole process involved, as I’m sure many people can relate to. For me it’s always been on par with getting a root canal. However, after my experience at Pearl St. Automotive; my car repair anxieties are gone forever (as long as I can bring my car here)!
Owner AJ is friendly, approachable, and hands down the best person I’ve ever dealt with at a garage. From the initial phone call to the keys being back in my hand, the entire process was seamless and never once even hinted at triggering my car repair anxieties. AJ explained exactly what was needed, gave me dates and timing that he never had to alter, and even stayed after hours to make sure I got the car the day I needed it since it’s the only car in the house.
The final cost was right on point with the estimate (just a couple bucks less actually), and the pricing was more than reasonable, not inflated or overcharged. They even give you a little thank you gift for larger jobs (I won’t ruin the surprise).
There is no question in my mind that I will be going back to AJ at Pearl St Automotive EVERY SINGLE TIME I ever need something done to my car! I’ll also be recommending this place to everybody I know and encounter who needs such a place!
