“Shoutout to the ladies who work there! I didn’t catch their name but they helped me with the passport process and they were very patient with me as I had no idea what I was doing. I went to south bound brook, Somerville, bridgewater, they were all extremely rude. Raritan was great ????”

I made my passport here finally after some struggles at other locations. I recommend people to come to this location even if it’s little bit far away from where you live.”

“Never an issue for the past couple of years. Friendly and helpful as opposed to the horrible Hillsborough Branch. However once I went and it was closed for lunch because there was only 1 person working and her boss told her not to put a note on the door. So i can't give it 5 stars.”

“The two postal employees behind the counter who assisted me in getting my passport documents together and sent out were 1) very patient with me 2) competent and 3) friendly/pleasant to work with.*In stark contrast to three unpleasant postal employees I encountered at the Pennington, New Jersey post office when I arrived on time for an appointment they cancelled (they did email me to cancel but I didn’t get a chance to read it)Robert Fenyk”

“Staff was good. No main entrance into the main tellers section. Two doors in the side to PO Boxes and then another door into the main area. They helped me tape up my box better than I did”

“I always enjoy coming to this post office. The clerks are always so friendly and fun! I think I’ve met them all but the most recent only comes up on my receipt at clerk #11. Thank you Clerk #11 for your courteous and kind help!”

“Best post office ever. Easy kiosk. SWEETEST MAN EVER WORKS THERE. Just the absolute sweetest kindest most helpful guy. I had to write a review about him. He’s in the little side window area where u give packages. Did not catch his name. You are just the best.”

“I had a passport appointment for my 2 kids at the Middlesex Post Office. When I arrived, I was told that all appointments were cancelled, however I did not receive an email that my appointment was cancelled. I asked the man where else I could go to get this done and he told me to “Google it”. I was very unhappy with the whole experience and his attitude. I did in fact “Google it” and I found that the Dunellen Post Office takes walk-in’s for passports Tuesday-Thursday. It was Friday, but I thought I’d give it a try anyway. When we walked in we were told that there were no walk-in appointments on Fridays. I asked where I could go, and the 2 girls offered several suggestions. I then told them about my experience at the Middlesex Post Office and how I took off work, picked my daughter up early from school, and had my 20 year old son leave work to get these passports done. TYCHIC looked at us and said after hearing our story she would do it for us!!!! She saved the day and I could not appreciate her more. It was so nice of her to do it for us, and she was very helpful and professional. From now on, I will be going to the Dunellen Post Office because of my wonderful experience working with TYCHIC. Thank you again TYCHIC!!!!”

“Was having a typical day, not bad, not great, and went to go mail a letter. As soon as I stepped into the tiny office I was greeted by a friendly worker named Renee, who definitely made my day just by being so animated and kind. Definitely takes the cake for best post office experience I've ever had elsewhere - usually everyone is so grumpy!”

“Never thought I'd leave a 5-star review for a post office, but incredibly grateful for this location reaching out to me during a very difficult and confusing time. Thank you!”

“For a small post office I would say it is efficient, friendly, employees are very knowledgeable. I actually drive past my post office and go a few more miles to BelleMead post office just for smiles and the friendly employees.”

“When you see a white SUV, expect great service from Gina. If you see a black SUV expect middling to poor service as the clerk who I cant remember is always on her phone and isnt polite. Thankfully Gina is there more often than not. They recently refaced the interior which looks nice.”

“Bound Brook Post Office on Mountain is very good -- longer hours on Saturday which is helpful. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but the service at this office is very good.”

“Have never had any problems with this post office.I really like the automated walk up machine which you can print stamps from. It also has a scale for you to weigh a package and print postage from. If you're tech savvy, it can be faster than waiting in line. They have 4 outside mail boxes you can drop off letters at (two of which are drive up which is great). If you have a smaller package which already has postage, there is a drop bin inside that you can quickly use and get out fast (there is a size limit, probably the size of a small toaster oven). They have the standard USPS packing materials, as well as greeting cards and even some gift cards. Pretty handy if you're in a pinch.”

“I am a snail mail lover! I love to both send and receive letters and packages. Having just moved to Dayton at the beginning of the pandemic, it took awhile before I actually went to this post office. I was ordering stamps etc online.I have been to many post offices in my 58 years and this one is a gem! I cannot understand how this has such low reviews??? The staff are top notch, friendly, helpful, organized and kind! They have every priority mail supply you could want and the line moves swiftly. They are serious about Covid prevention and I really appreciate that. I can't think of a single complaint. Thank you for your service! Two years later UPDATE! This remains a wonderful, helpful PO! I think people should try being a little considerate and try kindness, you will find that you will be treated the same in return.”

“UPDATE 2023: Runs efficiently now! Small but serviceable, and the postal persons are friendly and professional! Thank goodness ; )PREVIOUSLY: Very very slow. Inefficient, not at all friendly nor responsive on a personal level. Too bad! I've been to post offices that are Great! This one is tiny and crabby -the entire atmosphere is Crabby & neighbors have said the same. Unpleasant, too bad!”

“Got myself and my daughters' passports done at this location last Friday. The associate who helped us did a fantastic job getting the applications organized, passport photos taken, and payment done all while helping walk-in customers with their parcels. I really appreciated her efficiency.”

“This post office is always very professional ?. I applaud them for dealing with some unruly customers who gets frustrated when they are being told what needs to done for their transactions. I never experienced a problem with the employee their they all displayed most respect. Thank you for assistance me in business at the post office. You are well needed and most appreciated!”

“Despite all the other negative reviews about passport appointments, my appointment in January was pretty smooth and fine. BE PREPARED TO WAIT A WHILE. I had to wait 10-15 mins for the passport agent to attend to me. DON’T BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE ON A TIMED SCHEDULE. Come at a free time because they do take their sweet time. The passport agent is pretty nonchalant and he worked with his airpods in so.. don’t come here if you’re sensitive about that. Overall, I got my passport done easy in less than an hour here including a picture done for ID.”

“I see all the negative reviews, but I have to say I had an outstanding experience (btw - why in many of the negative reviews do people feel a need to call out someone by race? No one wrote the “white” girl or guy. It’s always black or dark-skinned. I’m Caucasian & I find this to be disturbing.) First - someone actually answered the phone! I was so grateful for that. I live in FL now & you will not find 1 area Post Office that will answer the phone. The phone just rings & rings until it cuts you off… over & over again. You have no choice but to call the Federal number & good luck with getting to the Post Office you need to speak with. Second - with that said, I had the great pleasure of speaking to Melinda. She is an outstanding representative of great customer service. Yes, in the USPS. She was helpful, kind, professional, efficient & understood exactly what my request was about. Yes, some of the negative reviews state that the USPS worker is on the phone - guess what? That employee is doing their job, not flitting around on a personal call. There are customers who do call in for assistance & these employees must address the concern, question, or request. Thank you for answering the phone, Melinda. I am grateful for your help & for correcting the mailing error I made all the way from FL to NJ. Excellent customer service and I wish I had somewhere to commend her on the USPS site. She deserves to be recognized for helping a customer to the extent that she did, in a timely & professional manner. btw - rude, disinterested, tone, not being helpful are subjective complaints. Sometimes an employee is doing the job within the constraints of Postal guidelines and they cannot deviate from that, no matter how many times you ask.”
