“My job opened a PO Box at this location months ago for mail. It has been a pleasant experience overall. They offer 24/7 access to the PO Box and always have friendly staff. It does get backed up during busy hours but they’re doing their best. Very clean environment. Overall, a great USPS branch.”
“Amazing, bustling, post office! They handled our passport applications for our twins in no time at all. Skip is a passport professional - he knew everything inside and out and was creative and helpful taking photos of one year olds. Post office workers knew many customers by name. Friendly vibe. “I am so thankful for Kathy Felton at the Helmetta post office. The whole staff was super nice but Kathy was truly the best. I had a problem with transferring documents and had a very bad experience with a post office in Sayreville that I was not getting any help resolving until I met Kathy at the helmetta post office. Kathy was very Knowledgeable and straightened out the problem I had in Sayreville. She went above and beyond for me, was super nice and really took the time to explain everything that was going on to me and how to take care of the problem. It is very rare to come across a person and business that are so caring and helpful they are the best and Kathy is a great person.”

“Never an issue for the past couple of years. Friendly and helpful as opposed to the horrible Hillsborough Branch. However once I went and it was closed for lunch because there was only 1 person working and her boss told her not to put a note on the door. So i can't give it 5 stars.”

“In fact, this place is good, or rather, the woman worker just does her job well! This employee gave me the opportunity to verify addresses before sending my letters. I sent a lot of registered letters, but despite this, she gave me the opportunity on her screen, a display in her system, to check the exact addresses of sending my letters. I told her that the last letter was very important for the lawyer, and she immediately understood me, and also gave me the opportunity to check the exact address in the system. This is far from common and not all post offices give you such a real opportunity, without even asking the employee about it. I've had a lot of bad experiences where postal workers simply refuse this opportunity to give you the right to check the exact address on the screen in the system. Thanks a lot for your great job!”
“I usually go to USPS North Brunswick(Livingston) b/c Vince is so cool and knows everything about his job. I came here b/c my fav. location doesn't open until 10AM(They losing a star for that. Lol). I went into this USPS, it smelled good, had available pens, looked really clean and then met this woman who helped me patiently with my packaging and provide plenty of good options. Her name was Tanya. I think she was the supervisor but I mean customer service was superior. This might be my new favorite location. They open early, clean, provide minor accessories that is this essential. Usps is has a lot of competition and little things like this location makes USPS stay on the modern map....especially with their great prices. Thank Tanya. God bless. You rock!! The few times I absolutely needed to use the post office was painful and I dreaded ever coming!There is a gentleman that works here now and he is so helpful, pleasant and has such a warm and friendly spirit! I was shocked, relieved and most of all so HAPPY! This location is closest and I now look forward to using the post office! “This post office actually does what it’s intended to do: mail letters and packages and place sent mail into a correct PO Box. Not all USPS centers can do this, at all. The older gentleman there, is top notch there. He should be a model and example for what the USPS should ought to achieve every single day. There are a couple cranky employees, however so are some of the customers ahead of me in line. Nothing is perfect. This post office is great overall.”

“I've only lived here for six weeks at this address there was major problems with my address and not getting any mail but when I started not getting the packages I paid for that was a problem. My mail carrier Bob the supervisor Brett and the postmaster at the other location Natalia they fixed me they found all my stuff and brought it to me within 24 hours. And if that's not all I even got a phone call and I have never ever had a post office take care of a customer the way they took care of me. I am in the wow factor. Thanks guys I appreciate you so much.”
“Have never had any problems with this post office.I really like the automated walk up machine which you can print stamps from. It also has a scale for you to weigh a package and print postage from. If you're tech savvy, it can be faster than waiting in line.They have 4 outside mail boxes you can drop off letters at (two of which are drive up which is great). If you have a smaller package which already has postage, there is a drop bin inside that you can quickly use and get out fast (there is a size limit, probably the size of a small toaster oven).They have the standard USPS packing materials, as well as greeting cards and even some gift cards. Pretty handy if you're in a pinch.”

“I saw all the negative reviews and wanted to share my experiences with the East Brunswick Post Office. I have been using this post office for over 25 years, 14 as a business owner dropping off items daily. I do 99% of my label printing at home but occasionally make a trip to the counter if I have a high value package, need a receipt showing the package was dropped off or am sending a care package to our men and women overseas.When I have had to deal with the people behind the counter, they have been nothing but pleasant and helpful. There was a time one of the employees walked me to the lobby to show me how to use the scanner but it was to save me time in the future so I would not have to wait in line. I can't fault her for that. Yes, there are long lines sometimes which can be frustrating but it never seems to be due to those working behind the counter in my experience.Out of thousands of packages I ship per year through my business about a handful go missing, usually after they have left East Brunswick. I write it off as a cost of doing business.Sometimes an initial scan is not done but the tracking typically updates within days and almost always by the time it gets to the destination post office. I explain this to my customers if they inquire about the tracking and they are always understanding. I am happy that the Post office is able to process the packages I typically drop off after hours and get them moving that night and a few missed scans are not a problem for me.On an additional note, Penny has been our delivery person for quite some time now. Not only is she great at her job, she is an incredibly nice person that brightens our days every time my wife, son or I see her. This can be while she is dropping off mail or when we pass each other on the road.While some people may have had bad experiences, my life experiences have shown me that sometimes you get back what you put out. If you go in expecting to have a bad experience, that is what you may very well have.Something else to keep in mind. The US Post Office office employs more than 65,000 veterans and today, Veteran's Day, we should be thanking each and every one of them.”

Inside you will find the most helpful and patient USPS representative, who is a jewel herself. Now, please don't go to this post office so that I can keep it to myself and not have to wait in any lines!”
