“We have lived in Milltown for close to ten years and have brought four different cars at one point for service at Joe’s. Their pricing is great, the service is quick and we are treated with respect with each visit. As an example of their customer service, we once had our plastic undercarriage protector that was breaking off due to snow accumulation. The secured it to the underside of the car and didn’t charge us or even tell us about the fix. We were pleasantly surprised when we found it had been fixed a few days after pickup.”
“First time going, they have gained another long time customer. My experience was amazing. The staff is amazing and honest. They are upfront with prices and have most if not all services and prices listed in the lobby. I love supporting local family owned businesses and this is one that deserves it! Thanks for the great service!”
“The owner and his team here are great. Several of the mechanics have been here for years. Pricing is right, they are super friendly, and they don’t seem to try and sell you on unnecessary nonsense. They are accommodating with scheduling and they definitely appreciate their customers. When one of my cars was getting older they started work, figured out it was a bigger issue than expected, and then put it back together without any charge so I could just go sell it.
I highly recommend.”
“listen today its hard to trust anyone but Milltown auto is my spot normally I work on my own cars but dont have a shop or lift so when its something like that I take my truck here. these guys are the best. trustworthy redaction I have to change my review. six months ago I took my truck there for Evaporative Emission System Vent control Circuit. P0446 they had the truck for a day called me said it was fixed that it was a wiring issue then a few weeks ago the engine light came on same code P0446 again. I drove it for a week because I did not have time to take it back in then one morning during that week went to start the truck and it would not start. had it towed back to Milltown Auto Services and they told me it needed plugs (which was strange because I had just put brand new plugs in it a few months before) and the throttle body was dirty I did some research and evap code makes the fuel mixture rich meaning fuel is not being burnt in the cylinders which could foul the plugs so it was that the evap system had a fault cade that fouled the plugs mind you the second time I took it to them $1,040.00 the first time they charged me $350 but needless to say I was told it was good to go picked up the truck and an hour later engine light again same code. so I took it back again I was told it was good to go. I been driving it for the last week and a half and it was running good I could still feel a little miss but hey its a 2013 ford pick up. so I called them this morning to say thank you the truck is running good. Needless to say when I got home from work tonight the engine light is on again and its giving me the same code for evap system p0446 they have had my truck three times and still have not fixed this problem. Id be stupid to take it back to them because obviously they are not diagnosing and fixing the problem correctly and im out so far $1,340.00 seems to be an awful lot to pay for a wiring issue that was never fixed in the first place. so if anyone knows a good trustworthy mechanic please let me know because I need my daily driver fixed correctly by someone who knows whats going on.”
