“I had a fantastic experience with Lucas today. I brought my Hyundai Santa Fe in because the screen wasn’t loading properly. Lucas checked everything thoroughly, explained exactly what needed to be done, and most importantly—he was completely honest. There was no pressure, no unnecessary work suggested, just clear and straightforward advice. He also returned the car quickly, which I really appreciated.
What impressed me even more was that my key fob had been acting up, something I hadn’t even mentioned to him. Lucas noticed it and fixed it without me asking. That kind of attention to detail and genuine care is rare.
I was so impressed that I brought my second car to him the next day for a general inspection since I’m planning to buy it. Lucas did a very detailed check and gave me an honest assessment of the car. “I can't speak on their work because they don't work on the specific problem I had. However, what I can speak to is how honest they are, and how quick and easy it was to get to the bottom of things. And if anyone feels concerned about trusting mechanics, which is common, they understand how important it is to be able to feel comfortable with them, and to feel like the experience was easy and to the point. They weren't able to help with this, but they gave me good reason to go back for other services they do handle, and I already sent my girlfriend to them, and her experience was just as good.”

“I called J & J Automotive for a quote on a complete brake job, and they kindly squeezed me in. I dropped off my car, went for a quick bite, and returned to the shop to continue waiting. When I got back, they had just determined that I didn’t need brakes after all. Instead, they fixed the sound of metal on metal that usually signals worn brakes—but my pads still had plenty of life left.
This wasn’t the first time Joe put honesty before profit. On a previous visit, he sent me to the dealer because my issue was likely under warranty—turning down business to save me money. Both times, he charged me next to nothing, and honestly, I felt guilty.
I first met Joe because he did amazing work for my son, and now I won’t go anywhere else. Twice now, he’s had the opportunity to do unnecessary work, and twice he’s proven his integrity. I even told him most places would have just taken my money.

“After a long, stressful experience with my brand new 2026 ram 1500 not starting and having to get to the nearest dealership, I felt a weight lifted once meeting and speaking with Christian and Tara.
From start to finish, their care and attention to detail was a calming breath of fresh air during an otherwise nerve-racking ordeal. As my truck was diagnosed, they secured a safe ride home and catered to my dog and I needs. The entire staff was welcoming and warm towards not just myself, but my dog, which means the world to me! Chivalry and personable manners are proven to be alive and well at the Route 18 CJDR dealership, especially having Christian and Tara attending to your concerns/ needs. They insured my dog and I had a safe ride home, even walked us out and opened the car door for us. I also appreciated the constant communication and updates.

“Two things that I noticed is one I was asked to come in early and I was waiting for the vehicle, but they still did not take the car until after the appointment time so I was there a lot longer than necessary. Second item is they changed my speedometer from miles to hour to kilometers per hour and now I have to figure out how to reset that as my on screen dash and speedometer on the dashboard is now incorrect so I do not know the miles per hour I’m actually going. This is the second time this has happened after visiting this establishment. I recommend them making sure they’re not changing anything that they shouldn’t be changing like that.”
