“I’ve been coming to 3 in 1 deli for 25+ years. Hands down best deli in Hopatcong. I remember them giving me free donuts as a kid. JP, Shopa (RIP) Benny, the whole crew know how to run a good shop. They built this place, reputation, and remember before they expanded the space. If you’re visiting to hit the lake - stop here, you will not disappointed. Highly recommend their Italian sub, better than most Italian deli’s imo. Their sloppy joes & roast beef subs are also great. Quality meats & cheese compared to the trash you get at a gas station like QuickChek. Price is so fair you can get a near footlong for around 10 bucks. Cannot beat it. I do recommend calling in your order I have had times waiting in their lobby for 10-15 mins for a sandwich. Overall, 3 in 1 is a Hopatcong staple. Actually, a staple in the general Deli business. “Just moved nearby and decided to take a 20-minute drive down to 462 River Styx Rd after seeing their breakfast sandwich on Facebook. It did not disappoint! The sandwich was absolutely delicious, massive, and hit the spot perfectly. At just $8.00, you cannot beat the price or the quality. The staff provides excellent, on-point customer service, and the location is great. After you grab your food, you can sit outside in their patio area and enjoy a beautiful view of the lake. Often there is only one , possibly two and a bunch of self checkout stations. The store is clean. The staff is friendly and will help you find items that seem to be 'hiding.' “Truly a step back in time. The whole idea of small-town America is perfectly encapsulated in places such as adorable Califon in rural Hunterdon County, New Jersey, which has the unique distinction of being the physical inspiration behind the setting of the 1946 Christmas classic, “It’s a wonderful life”. In the heart of Califon is Rambo’s, a truly vintage general store, delicatessen, and butcher shop. I’m not sure exactly how old it is, probably at least as old as my paternal grandfather, who would be 98 today. I’ve tried their 2 most popular sandwiches, the pastrami on rye with Swiss and the Italian hoagie, both were delicious. I bought some of their hand cut lamb loin chops, they turned out excellent with a jerk spice rub they sell. I’m very much looking forward to trying out their house made Italian sausage I got stored in the freezer. The store staff and managers/owners are very kind and welcoming and I am happy to support an awesome and storied local small business. I’m definitely planning on coming back here on a semi-routinely manner, perhaps even on a biking trip on the nearby Columbia trail in the future.”

“I had ordered a cake for my sons 4th birthday yesterday and not only was the design perfect the cake also tasted amazing. I was also very pleased that the cake was ready for pick up an hour before my pickup window which meant there was no wait time. The women at the counter who also grabbed my cake upon arrival was nice and accommodating. All my son wanted for his birthday was a lightening McQueen birthday cake and was happy with the help of Walmart he was able to receive it.”

“Went in to help a friend with a pick up order and was looking for the same item she ordered a pelonis fan. It was almost closing time and I was greeted by a lovely lady who checks you at the door. Then as I was checking out Ellen G approached me asking if I needed assistance so I asked her where the fan was and she pulled it right up on the computer. Within a minute she was walking with a cart to go grab it for me and so I followed. She went above and beyond in customer service and I work in retail. She is the reason I bought an 80$ item last minute. I will now only go to this location. I had an issue at the self checkout and Teresa was right there to help. Mind you, it’s closing and not one other these women were in a rush to get us out. I’ll be back. Thank you to all three ladies.”

The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
