“This is my secret go-to place for made-to-order deli sandwiches in Newark. The place is located right around the corner from the Prudential Center. Krauszer's has a few locations across Newark, but this particular one is my favorite. Why? Because it's never busy and the workers are all very courteous. The main guy with the mustache (forgive me, I forget his name) greatly appreciates every customer, so I will always go out of my way to support businesses like these. I usually get their honey turkey spinach wraps--always fresh and very affordable! They don't have in-store seating, so it will be takeout at this location. **TIP: The made-to-order items come with a free bottle of water or a can of soda.”

“The store urself could be a bit cleaner, but they work hard keeping the store stocked! Like any Bodega, it's over priced, but you pay for the convenience of a bodega! But the best thing about this place is Anna! She runs that kitchen like it's easy! Even when there is a line going down the aisle and she's the only one cooking! And she does it with a smile EVERY DAY! I think this place would fail without her! I TRULY hope they pay her well! The rest of the staff is always kind and smiling as well! Recommend...?”

“Deli/bodega with freshly cooked food available is my reason for going. It's like a cut-rate Wawa. I get gas elsewhere with rewards. There's plenty of parking nearby so you can wait for Newark passengers without being harassed by the police. There's a park across the street so you can get fresh air too.As others have mentioned, the patrons flowing in and around it can be a bit ghetto, some of them unscrupulous so keep your wits about you, but I've seen worse.”

As an aged man, I sometimes have hard time finding items, and they always help me find items I need with great patience. They also have great service to provide when it comes to passport photos and copying.”

“Best sandwich in Newark so far! This is much better than Subway and it's right here. The only negative is they are super slow and not very friendly, but it's a convenience store, so can't expect too much. Their sandwiches are really worth the wait though!”

“Decent store ....prices inflated but that was before the pandemic. Daughter of the owner is born and raised here so she gets the people ? very nice girl . Cook will wash his hands n not give u a problem for asking . If u order food from the back that they have to cook be specific and you should b okay. Clean store. No visible mouse traps or roach sticky pads. No expired meats from what I've seen .”

“This place has been around for ages, and was the go-to spot in town for those who loved magazines. Every possible topic or interest was represented, no matter how hard to find. The store still has print media, but not as much, as magazines have dwindled with the internet. However, the store is still family-run, sells a host of beer, wine, and spirits, and still operates as a convenience store. For the sake of nostalgia, give it a visit.”

“This Walgreens is a good local resource in the neighborhood. I think they've done a good job with enforcing social distancing inside the store. Inventory is stocked. Also, the people working the store are friendly (For example, today, I stopped inside and this guy stocking the shelves said hello and asked how I was doing and if I needed help finding anything). The pharmacy here is always great; they genuinely care about the customers and run the operation well back there. I've never had an issue picking up anything from the pharmacy at this location.”
