An amazing selection of plays to read and consider---you can explore ancient plays by the Greeks, Elizabethan contemporaries of Shakespeare, or plays that have just closed on or off Broadway. Great ambience; friendly staff and comfortable spaces where you can lose yourself in whatever play you are reading. I am really happy it exists and always look forward to visiting.”

“This is a fantastic little store. It is a little hard to find because although the address is on Sylvan the store is actually located on the second floor of the Williams Center. very meticulously put together shop with books, records, CDs and graphic novels including what may be the fullest collection of Steve Ditko books. If you wanna know what it was like to find a great little corner record/bookstore on a side street in Manhattan in the 80s, just climb the stairs here.”

“Astoria Bookshop is tucked away off the main drag and that only makes it more perfect. The shop is loaded with current best sellers, kids books & cute notebooks, bookmarks and cards. They even had some signed copies of books that were great to see. The ladies were so friendly and sweet. I had my dog with me and they were so excited to see her and offered her treats and pets. Checked out the shops Instagram where they have all their events & happenings. I also picked up my next read and I'll definitely go back there for more books and tosupport this great shop!”

The staff is really kind and passionate about the arts. Savannah really took her time to show me what Zines are all about. I was really inspired by her. “Love this place omg! Tons of super cute things , even if you don't buy anything its fun to look around. Total animanga lover heaven. The cafe is really nice and they make an amazing jasmine boba tea. Some of the things in store are at a markup so I'd recommend looking online before purchasing more expensive items. But you can sometimes find good things for cheaper thn usual. Got a really nice figure for a steal! Only real complaint is that it felt a bit awkward when going to check out, some of the employees just seem like they do not wanna be there. Not even a small smile or a "how are you". Asked for a bag and she had this face as if i was doing her an inconvenience. But maybe I just caught her on a bad day idk. Definitely going again soon though!”

“a nook of a bookshop located on Bleecker Street, nearish to Bowery. it's a cozy spot filled with used books that are well-curated from floor to ceiling. while the store is a little cramped, the books are organized well and fairly easy to see/identify if you are looking for a particular title. there's a good range of books from mainstream ones to more uncommon tomes. i stop in here occasionally and haven't had any luck yet finding books that i am searching for...but i remain confident that i'll make a hardcover purchase here soon!”
“This is without a doubt my favorite book store in the city. McNally Jackson is generally great wherever you go, but the seaport destination will always have a special place in my heart. The staff here are super knowledgeable and even ordered me a book when it wasn't available on shelf! The space is a perfect mix of modern and historical with the hard wood and leather couches, its the perfect place to stop in for day enjoying the Seaport District. My advice? Check out the best sellers and staff pics when you first walk in and then make sure to go peruse upstairs for the full experience, ask a staff if you get stuck and/or need help and then take your new book next stairs to the cafe and enjoy a delicious coffee while you start reading. Truly the perfect day.”

Aeon's owner shipped them immediately upon receiving the order in many layers of bubble-wrap protection.
