“As someone who reviews a lot of properties, it takes a lot to truly impress me. Let's be honest—is every single detail at this property absolutely flawless? No. But the grounds are genuinely beautiful, and the value is unbeatable. If you're looking for a quick, affordable weekend getaway right in the NY/NJ area, this is the spot. Even the standard room rates are incredibly reasonably priced before you even get to any upgrades. A massive shoutout to Ashley and Olivia at the front desk. Even with a few operational hotel issues happening in the background during my stay, they went completely above and beyond. They are easily the most accommodating, professional, and genuinely helpful front desk team I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. Thanks to them, I scored a beautiful corner king suite upgrade. The room was phenomenal, and the shower was absolutely top-tier. But the real star was the Serenity bed—unbelievably comfortable. The staff even humored me by sending up four extra pillows so I could build an absolute pillow fortress. I’ve seen a few complaints online about the breakfast, and honestly, those people must be out of their minds. It is on par with the best hotel breakfasts across the nation. The French toast was absolutely slamming, and the orange juice was fresh and ice-cold. But the real standout was the fresh fruit—cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon. It was incredibly fresh and delicious, which is a rarity for a hotel buffet. I probably ate pounds of it alone. The property amenities hit the mark, too. We had a blast hanging out in the pools, and on the sly, we even did a little fishing right out front. The staff was totally cool with it and honestly shocked to find out there were actually fish out there. Fun was had by all. Overall, a fantastic stay anchored by top-tier hospitality, killer value, and a great breakfast. I’ve attached a few photos and a video so you can see it for yourself. The food was great, the service was exceptional, and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly. We truly had an amazing time and our guests did as well. Highly recommend for any special event!”

“10/10 experience. Beautiful hotel, amazing atmosphere, wonderful staff, and great food and drinks. We enjoyed our stay so much that this will definitely become our new monthly getaway spot. A special shout out to Alex and Lynnell, who truly made our experience exceptional. They took care of us during lunch and again later for our nightcap drinks until midnight, and their service was absolutely top tier. They were attentive, welcoming, personable, and made sure we had an amazing time from start to finish. It’s rare to come across hospitality that genuinely stands out, but both of them went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. “Just had my daughter’s birthday party at Imagine That and it was such a great experience. They handled all the setup and clean up and decorations. The package I bought came with goodie bags and food for the kids so I didn’t even have to worry about that, along with a private dance party. They have food and cake on site so you don’t have to bring it with you. The pizza was amazing, so much better than your typical party place. There were also a variety of food choices for the kids, including chicken nuggets, which was perfect for my picky eater who doesn’t like pizza. The staff were friendly and super helpful. It is a great open play space for kids of all ages. There is such a wide variety of toys/play areas for all kids to find something they enjoy from a climbing structure, grocery store, home corner, vet’s office, dress up, building areas, train tables, art and more. I highly recommend Imagine That for your child’s party or just for open play.”

“I’m so happy to write this review! I was planning a rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding. I was not familiar with the area near the wedding venue. I specifically wanted a location to accommodate 50+ people and allow me to bring in my own alcohol. I found The Warehouse online. Right from the start, I was greeted warmly by Lisa, who was able to talk me through the space, menu, staffing, pricing, etc. She patiently answered my litany of questions, worked within my budget, and presented me with a menu and plan for the evening. In a nutshell, the food was fantastic, the space was beautiful (shabby chic/rustic), very comfortable for the group. The staff managing our dinner, led by Noemi, was superb! She attended to every detail, beautifully displayed the bar options, food, and desserts. Not a detail was missed! We never felt rushed in anyway. I highly recommend The Warehouse for any event!”

“We celebrated our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah at the powerhouse studio in East Hanover. The entire event was a huge success, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The overall timing and flow of the party were terrific, and the food was absolutely delicious. The DJ was great, and the MC did an amazing job keeping the kids entertained and engaged throughout the night. The Hollywood red carpet theme felt perfect, and the decorating provided a fantastic vibe with all the elements. We were particularly grateful for the crew, who were super helpful and attentive to all our needs. They were helpful during the contract and planning process. Highly recommend!”

Completed in 1930, the Georgian Revival-style mansion and adjoining auditorium have been a hub for Maplewood’s vibrant cultural and civic life for over eight decades. The unique event features lion dance, performances representing Chinese, Mongolian, Thali, and Korean cultures, children's activities, and delicious food trucks, which brought out the crowd.”

The big disappointment was that the pool no longer exists! We had been hyping up the pool with our kids, packed all the pool gear, etc. Big let down. They really need to update the website.”

“The centerpieces for my son's rehearsal dinner were absolutely beautiful, and actually, better than I could have imagined. I loved how Christina incorporated so many of the elements we discussed. The purples, blues and yellows were just perfect for a late summer event and the textures were gorgeous. We were able to bring them over to the Crystal Plaza on Saturday morning and everyone enjoyed them in the bridal suite. “Historic, charming, and quaint hotel in the center of Bernardsville, close to a number of restaurants and shops. The hotel restaurant, the Red Horse, was quite good. Cute bar area, too. I enjoyed a lovely dinner there on my first night. Breakfasts at the Bernards Cafe and the Coffee Shop were both really good. Hotel room was pretty clean but bathroom was tight on space, mainly due to a lovely but too large sink that stuck out too far and made navigating to the toilet and shower a little awkward, and I'm average sized. Bed was comfortable. Parking can be limited in the hotel lot but you can park for free overnight across the street at the NJ Transit Bernardsville train station. Comfortable bed. Note: the front desk controls the thermostat in the room. But they were very obliging with adjusting the temperature in the room when needed. I'd stay here again.”

Front desk was vacant more than once.”

“Overall this is a very nice hotel at a great price. Front desk very pleasant and helpful. No issue with renovations or noise at all. They are still doing some work but it appears to be mostly completed. Room was good size and had fridge and microwave. Breakfast appears basic, I only had yogurt and juice machine was not working, but other guests were eating breakfast so I truly cannot comment on how it was. Overall I would recommend this hotel.”

“What a wonderful property. Tucked away off of Route 10 and minutes away from food and shopping, Hyatt House is a quiet hotel with a beautiful pool, spacious rooms, and a dedicated staff. Heather checked us in and Erica checked us out. Both were incredibly kind and professional. Heather is remarkably attentive when it comes to guest's needs. Our room's cleanliness was absolutely stellar. With the small kitchen, dining room area, living area, separate bedroom, and large bathroom, my girlfriend and I could have lived there. We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.”

“Came to town for a convention. Accidentally booked my room for the wrong days. Staff was very helpful in correcting the mistake. Check in: smooth. Room: spotless. Parking: plentiful. Checkout: quick and easy. The gym is very minimal, but in a practical sense. Free weights, treadmills, ellipticals. Everything you need to get a good workout in. Cant rate the breakfast because I slept in and missed it ?♂️ Great hotel all around, great staff.”
