I gotta say, the Beef at Bishop's Supermarket is measurably better than any supermarket...they're not shy about their pricing, but the Price/Value relationship is solid. "you get what you pay for" is the old adage, and I believe that it is always true. Just great meat!!! And, I love that they get Scrapple from R & R Provisions, Easton PA. “Good store with everything you need in an Indian store. Well organized and clean aisles. If you are buying a lot going to Oak Tree or Rt27 makes sense because this place is about 10% higher in price, which makes sense for the convenience”
“First and foremost the staff here is so friendly. The store is clean and organized.
I use the website to locate items since it’s accurate and easy.
Prices are average. I typically only buy sale items. Occasionally the prices are incorrect too. You have to be a hawk and take pictures of shelf price tag.
My biggest concern is how often I buy produce and it’s spoiled or rotten. It happens every month. I try my hardest to inspect the food before I purchase it but somehow I keep getting the rotten stuff.”

“Excellent customer service! When my first shipment was delivered I noticed that the produce wasn’t fresh enough. This was totally on the shipping company as they didn’t deliver the produce in a timely manner. It was supposed to be “2 day shipping” but unfortunately it took them 5 days to deliver. Upon contacting Basil Grocery, they immediately sent me the same produce with no charge. Unfortunately, the shipment company failed to deliver the produce in a timely manner again. I contacted Basil Grocery and explained them the issue. This time, they used a different company to ship the produce with no extra charge. They took full responsibility to ensure customer satisfaction. They were very quick to respond. I received my produce (Erik / plums) nice and fresh. I highly recommend Basil Grocery.”

Always have great experience here. However, I bought this strawberry jam today, 4/30, opened it （lid was properly sealed cuz I heard a pop when I twisted it open), and I saw mold.......expiration date on the jar is 10 Nov, 2026. Very disappointed.”

“Just ran in for a few items that Walmart did not have today and was able to pick up a nice orchid for my wife for Mother’s Day as well. Overall prices are decent at Stop & Shop however, meats and poultry are always higher priced and then they mark down as it gets closer to the expiration, most frustrating if they would just do a better price from the beginning, it would probably move quicker.”

“If you live around this ShopRite location, you gotta try the hot &sour soups inside this ShopRite! It's considered the best hot &sour soup in NJ! We have been eating hot & sour soup here and there, far and close, but this is the best soup you can get! We would come to this ShopRite and buy only one thing, that's their soup from their food court! I can't say how good other cooked food is, but you must try this hot & sour soup! You will agree with me after you try it!”

“Update 2024 - MUCH BETTER!
Seems since changing to Green's they have all new workers -- FRIENDLY ONES! Great job on the upgrade. My husband and I shopped comfortably yesterday and were able to look around effortlessly. The store is small but if you go on an "off" day, you can find everything. They have Gopals seaweed snacks -- my favorites, frozen vegan bagels without sugar or gluten (all natural), and many other unique goodies you can't find elsewhere. Both the new manager and the cashier were VERY NICE. My only advice, to the workers, if someone is trying to look at something, please move, don't keep stocking -- that should be a no-brainer. Do not make the same dumb mistakes Whole Foods does. Always be polite.

It makes no sense why a grocery store would make it mandatory for customers to wear latex gloves (when some people are allergic), yet they do not have wipes to clean the carts, nor do the workers practice social distancing towards the customers. It's a scary place to shop and I don't feel comfortable shopping there. I was there today and Rachel and Heather were HORRIBLE towards me. Rachel got very close to me to scold me for not putting on the gloves yelling "THIS IS STORE POLICY" ... Well, let me ask you, what would happen if I DID put on the gloves and my hands swelled up -- who would pay for my hospital bill? DEAN? I don't think so! Rachel and Heather should both be ashamed of themselves. I will never go to this store again! I waled out without buying anything, after a 25 minute ride!”
“The store is an old store, but they do what they can to keep it clean and convenient. It would be difficult to update the store because it is now the only open Supermarket in town. So, closing the store to renovate would be a big inconvenience to folks in the area. You can save quite a bit of money if you pay attention to the sales and use the app and their digital coupons. I saved 30 percent on this particular voyage.”

“Local market that has many exotic items especially cheese, fresh produce and seafood. The prepared and baked founds are OK. The prices here are high but you can get essentials. They used to be much better. The store was sold to Albertsons/ACME. The staffing is much lower now and is more if a self service model.”

“I cannot praise the two employees working here. They are always efficient and helpful. Today they went a above and beyond to help me when my app crashed and we wrote trying to get all my discounts. She even called customer service for help. The store is busy and not the cleanest but the employees are stellar!”

“I go there to play my lottery tickets.Everyone very friendly.They also save me the old newspapers which I take every few days to our local animal shelter.Thay appreciate the donation to help take care of the animals.New management and they are cleaning up store.Front windows still need to be cleaned up and all the old papers need to get rid of.The only bad thing us that the parking lot needs to be cleaned up more than.it gets done and I know that is not the store.The property manager should be ashamed how he neglects his property. Everyone I speak to now say the store is so much nicer.Keep up the good work and give those hard working employees a big raise!”

“We used to have our parties catered by this place because their food tastes most like my Mom's. Super delicious and reasonably priced. The service was typical Filipino and I'm used to that. If you're ever in the area, get some food. It's good!”
