“I didn't know it was possible for a post office ever to earn a 5 star rating. I have traditionally dreaded going to the post office until I moved to Haskell. They are friendly and actually enjoy what they do. Joe is the best and brightens up my day every time I see him. Its rare to find someone who shows that much joy in life. Keep up the great work.”
“I had very positive experiences. Scott and the woman at the counter were great. Very knowledgeable and efficient. We came for the passport appointment as a family of 3. We were 10 mins late as I had realized I needed to take copies of the documents. Scott was super accommodating and was so fast that it took about 30 mins to have all new passports done (ton of papers to attach and put in order!!!). I rare leave reviews but Scott definitely deserves some recognition!!! Copies of the documents were taken at USPS. I have successfully received my passport.”

“I went to this location today and omg we received an outstanding service. The US postal worker covering the service lobby desk helped us with 5 applications even made copies for us. I was nervous at first thinking i would get the same service as in Lincoln Park where the employees are very rude, not helping you and sending you back. I was referred to this location by family and I am so glad. These employees at this location love helping people God bless them. Way to go Bloomingdales USPS, thank you for your service! You have a lot of potential in growing!”

“Great post office! I run a small supplement business and am a total pain when I bring in a bunch of orders to one branch out of the blue. The young woman who is there the most is very gracious and helpful. Some branches make me feel self conscious about bringing in too many orders. Not this one. I've been to hundreds of post offices over the years, and this one is as kind and capable as any of them.”
“The people that work out of the Wanaque post office are very helpful and go out of their way to help their customers it's a shame that USPS is such a terrible organization that when you have a problem you cannot get in touch with any body it is Mid March and we are just getting some Christmas cards delivered UPS just outright sucks”
“All the stars for John, who helped me with passport things today. Negative stars for the woman taking pictures for the passport and processing- she rolled her eyes and huffed when I had a question. In general she was super rude, and I was nothing but polite? If it had been busy I might have understood the frustration, but it wasn't and she didn't even try to help get my documents correct.”

“It’s a small post office, might seem a bit outdated as well. But i actually like that about it, the small town vibes. I have been here several times since i moved. The lines vary depending on the time of day. They are open till 7pm on weekdays so that’s helpful. Every time i have been there the clerks have been super helpful. I needed a lot of help deciding what package to send and save money as well when mailing a package to Europe and robert(clerk) was really nice and helped me with weighing the stuff and even told me about the best options. I needed that just so i can decide the best route to go. The clerks are always nice about making sure the mail is properly wrapped as well. Once i didn’t have the label on right and the clerk took the time and fixed it instead of just sending me away to fix it myself. I appreciated that. So over all i would recommend this place.”
“Judy is the only saving grace of this place. I only bring my packages here when she is on duty. She is fast, organized and knows her stuff. Unfortunately you can tell she is overworked and under appreciated. Last week she was on vacation and the whole place fell apart. The whole town was talking about it. I realize nowadays it’s hard to find people with a good work ethic but maybe they should reward people like Judy who work harder than what is required of them.”

i guess they delayed mailing, but i was very convinced it was thrown out because the letters referred to below were dropped off at post office but she had received the letter i put in my mailbox. I’m very sorry Usps. Thank you…

First review I’ve ever made, and I am only doing it because the service was that terrible. Horrible phone experience. They threw away a letter that took me 3-4 hours to make for my gf. Don’t have time to go during their horrible business hours. I tried calling them to fix a mistake I made and waited for 45min on hold until it randomly hung up on me. Worst service i have experienced in my LIFE. Don’t believe i will ever use USPS again. They need to get ts fixed asap. Horrible service overall. if i could give 0 stars. I would. Threw out a very very very sentimentally valuable and un-replaceable letter. 0/5.”
“Phillip who helped me today deserves a raise. I could tell he was managing a line of impatient guests while helping me on the phone and he was handing everyone with such patience and grace. USPS workers really need more support and respect, kindness and patience. It’s a thankless job, and it’s especially harder during the holiday season. “Frequent customer at this location and the guys upfront (Scott, Oswald, Eric) have been nothing short of a delight and respectful and very helpful each and every time. With that being said, some reactions and reviews here give a false impression of this office to the public and are only based on what I have witnessed as customers having a lack of courtesy towards the gentlemen and wanting to be immune to the USPS policies. “I grew up in Waldwick and moved out when I got married. I never had a problem with the Post Office until we moved to West Orange which is serviced by the Orange Post Office. Trust me, you have no idea what poor service is until you move into a neighborhood that is only serviced by new and temporary carriers because the route you're on is one that the experienced carriers will not bid on as a work assignment because of hilly terrain. We had lost packages, missorted mail, missed deliveries, wet mail, you name it. The only good that became of their incompetence was that we became familiar with our neighbors by delivering the missorted mail to the correct people.”
“The allendale post office staff is beyond the most helpful and kind group of people I've ever met. I will always choose to come here out of any other post office in Bergen County. Joe assisted us with a passport renewal and so friendly and helpful with whatever questions we had. Compared to many other local post offices you genuinely don't get this type of experience. Any trip here whether it's for passport services or simply to mail a package is worth the extra miles.”

“Contacted this location to resolve issue with Held Mail. Phone was answered, my mail was located and within 15 minutes a carrier brought mail to my home. Both the employee I spoke to and the carrier were very courteous. Excellent service.”
