It’s rare to come across hospitality that genuinely stands out, but both of them went above and beyond and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. They are a huge reason we’re already looking forward to coming back.

“Fine stay at the Madison. Travelled with two little kids and the hotel staff removed some furniture from our room to accommodate their travel cribs/SlumberPods. The big disappointment was that the pool no longer exists! We had been hyping up the pool with our kids, packed all the pool gear, etc. Big let down. They really need to update the website.”

This was at or around 10:00 pm. The young lady from the hotel said I should have received an e-mail from the hotel, but I hadn't.”

“Can’t say enough good things about The Hub! We had an almost disastrous reservation issue due to booking through Super.com. (NEVER AGAIN) Thankfully, Carlos at the front desk was incredible by helping me reach out to the third party and getting the correction made. He is a very kind, helpful and sweet man. We got ready in the beautiful Rose Room. It was so convenient to have everyone at the hotel and the most stunning suite to get ready again! We had breakfast and lunch delivered to the room and the food was delicious.
We worked with Maria and her staff per our hotel block/every question along the way, including shuttles and the schedule for the day! The day was absolutely flawless. They took all the pressure and nuances off our plate!!

“My partner and I came to this hotel for our second anniversary and we were so pleased with the hotels decor as well as our rooms design and amenities. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and the pool and hot tub got us so relaxed it was amazing. What made the trip extra special though was our man David at the front desk! “As someone who reviews a lot of properties, it takes a lot to truly impress me. Let's be honest—is every single detail at this property absolutely flawless? No. But the grounds are genuinely beautiful, and the value is unbeatable. If you're looking for a quick, affordable weekend getaway right in the NY/NJ area, this is the spot. Even the standard room rates are incredibly reasonably priced before you even get to any upgrades.
​A massive shoutout to Ashley and Olivia at the front desk. Even with a few operational hotel issues happening in the background during my stay, they went completely above and beyond. They are easily the most accommodating, professional, and genuinely helpful front desk team I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with in a long time. Thanks to them, I scored a beautiful corner king suite upgrade. The room was phenomenal, and the shower was absolutely top-tier. But the real star was the Serenity bed—unbelievably comfortable. The staff even humored me by sending up four extra pillows so I could build an absolute pillow fortress.
​I’ve seen a few complaints online about the breakfast, and honestly, those people must be out of their minds. It is on par with the best hotel breakfasts across the nation. The French toast was absolutely slamming, and the orange juice was fresh and ice-cold. But the real standout was the fresh fruit—cantaloupe, honeydew, and watermelon. It was incredibly fresh and delicious, which is a rarity for a hotel buffet. I probably ate pounds of it alone.
​The property amenities hit the mark, too. We had a blast hanging out in the pools, and on the sly, we even did a little fishing right out front. The staff was totally cool with it and honestly shocked to find out there were actually fish out there. Fun was had by all.

“Likes: Room had a full-sized refrigerator with a freezer section. Excellent location, close to supermarkets and restaurants, 5 minutes from downtown Morristown. Close to I-287 and I-80, ~35 minutes to EWR. Decent price. Good Wi-Fi (not always a given).

Dislikes: Building and room showed some age. Not all lights in the parking lot were working. Front desk was vacant more than once.”

From the moment we arrived at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fairfield Hotel & Suites, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted us and immediately made us feel at home.

The hotel’s location is ideal, just off Route 46 with easy access to I-80 and convenient to both Newark and New York City. Whether traveling for business or leisure, its proximity to major transit routes makes it a great base for exploring the area.

Our room was immaculately clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with comfortable bedding, large HDTV, and reliable free Wi-Fi. The thoughtful layout provided a comfortable workspace and plenty of room to relax. Housekeeping maintained the room to an exceptional standard throughout our stay.

We enjoyed taking advantage of the hotel’s amenities — the indoor pool and well-equipped fitness center were terrific, and the on-site restaurant and bar offered delicious meals and attentive service. Everything was delivered with professionalism and genuine hospitality.

Perhaps most notable was the high level of service from every team member we encountered. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and questions or requests were handled promptly and courteously.

“Had the pleasure of visiting their banquet halls. Didn’t know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and elegant they are. Seems like a perfect location for an event like a wedding, with out-of-town guests, as the hotel and venue are just steps away. Also, great if you have elderly guest to include as much of it is just on one floor with minimal steps.”

“Overall this is a very nice hotel at a great price. Front desk very pleasant and helpful. No issue with renovations or noise at all. They are still doing some work but it appears to be mostly completed. Room was good size and had fridge and microwave. Breakfast appears basic, I only had yogurt and juice machine was not working, but other guests were eating breakfast so I truly cannot comment on how it was. Overall I would recommend this hotel.”

Tucked away off of Route 10 and minutes away from food and shopping, Hyatt House is a quiet hotel with a beautiful pool, spacious rooms, and a dedicated staff.

Heather checked us in and Erica checked us out. Both were incredibly kind and professional. Heather is remarkably attentive when it comes to guest's needs.

Our room's cleanliness was absolutely stellar. With the small kitchen, dining room area, living area, separate bedroom, and large bathroom, my girlfriend and I could have lived there.

The room wasn’t just surface-cleaned—it was thoroughly immaculate. The modern wood-style floors were spotless, the linens were fresh, the vanity and mirror were streak-free, and everything was restocked. The maids work exceptionally hard, and it shows in every detail.
​Prime Location & Convenience
The location right on Route 46 is as convenient as it gets. You are close to everything you need—liquor stores, quick food options like McDonald's, and major route access that makes hopping into NYC a quick, easy trip. A huge bonus is having a fantastic steakhouse right on-site with incredible food, so you don't even have to drive anywhere for a top-tier dinner.
​Morning Breakfast
The included breakfast is a major plus and far better than standard motel fare. The dining area is kept spotless and restocked every morning. They offer a hot-and-fresh setup, including turkey sausage, perfectly done hard-boiled eggs, a self-serve waffle station, and cold, fresh orange juice. It’s convenient, ready early, and completely hassle-free.
​The Room, Upgrades & Appliances
The layout provides plenty of space to unpack and settle in. Unlike other big chain hotels where furniture is worn out and falling apart, everything here is solid, clean, and well-maintained. You get an actual refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment—not just a cheap cooler box—along with a clean microwave and an in-room coffee maker. The king-size bed is massive and comfortable, paired with a dedicated desk and bright lighting.
